Speaking of public outbursts, why is it that you’ll flip on a journalist, like the dude from EW who shitted on the tour, but not another rapper that disses you?
Kanye West: Because I feel like I’m playing on the same intellectual level of a journalist and not of a rapper.
How so?
Kanye West: [Laughs.] I feel like if a rapper disses me, they’re just trying to get a rise out of me and get me to play in their field to find some way that they can beat me. I feel like there’s a lot of rappers that can beat me in ignorance. So why would I play a sport that I’m not particularly trying to get better at or beaten in? Kanye West and Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson will guest star on an episode of FOX’s upcoming animated comedy, The Cleveland Show, scheduled to air in 2010.
The “Heartless” hitmaker will take on the role of up-and-coming rapper “Kenny West” on the show.
Kenny and Cleveland Jr. (Kevin Michael Richardson) will engage in a “rap battle” for the affections of high school hottie Chanel (Henson).
Kanye’s new girlfriend will star in his next music video, prompting speculation that their relationship is a publicity stunt. The “Heartless” rapper, who was snapped attending Paris Fashion Week with video vixen Amber Rose last month, has cast the shaven-head model as a robotic police officer in the upcoming video for his single “Robocop.”
“Kanye’s popularity has dipped a little in recent months so what better way to get people interested again than by stepping out with a stunning model – and then casting her in his video. People will be tuning in to see the sexual chemistry,” according to the March 11 edition of The Boston Globe.
