NBA hoopster Kobe Bryant looks ready to sashay-shante on out of the closet in these summer-themed snaps for the May issue of The Los Angeles Times Magazine.

The Lakers star broke out the Mac Lipglass and “All White Everything” for a photoshoot that left him looking a bit like a gay pretzel.

“I’ll obviously pull for the USA, but I have sentimental ties to Italy. I have a friend who plays for Argentina. [David] Beckham I was pulling for, and it’s unfortunate what happened [torn Achilles tendon]. But it’s tough to say which team I think is going to win the whole thing.”

How do you like to enjoy L.A.?
“We go to restaurants, things like that. I love Koi. Most of the time, after a game, I go across to Katsuya at L.A. Live. And I love Philippe’s.”

“The biggest mistake I made was responding to what he was saying about me. Once I responded, now that made it seem like I was part of that whole thing. It’s like, Okay, these two are against each other. As opposed to just staying quiet, which is what I’ve been doing the last few years. An advertisement featuring two of basketball’s biggest superstars is causing a stir over an alleged gun reference — less than a week after two NBA players were suspended for carrying firearms to the locker room.

The Nike ad, which appears in several publications including Sports Illustrated and ESPN The Magazine, features LeBron James and Kobe Bryant posing next to the quote: “Prepare For Combat: I’ll Do Whatever It Takes To Win Games. I Don’t Leave Anything In The Chamber….”

The word “chamber” is creating controversy, with some sports fans claiming the remark is a reference to firearms. Nike contends that the ad has nothing to do with gun violence.

<em>“The Nike print ad featuring Kobe Bryant was intended to illustrate his all out play and commitment on the basketball court,”</em> Nike said in a statement last week. <em>“It is a commonly used reference for shooting the basketball and no offense was intended.”</em>

The NBA has called the "Prepare For Combat" campaign "inappropriate."

Kobe Bryant and his wife are being sued by their former maid.

Maria Jimenez filed suit in Superior Court in Orange County this week alleging that Kobe’s former teen bride Vanessa verbally and emotionally abused her.

According to the Orange County Register, Mrs.Bryant has a lengthy history of verbally assaulting members of the service industry.

Maria says she couldn’t take it anymore after Vanessa punished her foraccidentially putting an expensive blouse in the washer by making her fish its price tag out of a bag of dog feces.

Somebody needs to knock her ass out!

Maria is suing for wrongful discharge, invasion of privacy, emotional distress, and unpaid wages.

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant showed off his Olympic gold medal during an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night.

Shaq has blamed Kobe Bryant’s big mouth for leaving his marriage in shambles. In a new diss track that made it’s way to the Net on Monday, Shaq says:

“Last week Kobe couldn’t do it without me…”

Kobe cheating again? You don’t say! Kobe Bryant has been stepping out on wife Vanessa Bryant again, according to scathing new reports from the Snitch Circuit. The Los Angeles Lakers star is being accused of carrying on a clandestine affair with now-former Laker Girl, Vanessa Curry.

Kobe Bryant has allegedly participated in yet another scandalous affair and was stepping out on his wife Vanessa with another Vanessa, no relation…Vanessa Curry was a Laker girl but recently “quit” the squad to pursue some “hosting” opportunities. Whispers of Kobe’s most recent martial indiscretion are quickly spreading, and Kobe’s one-time teen bride is ready to release Mama Bear Hell on anyone giving her the Vanessa Curry/Kobe Affair rumors any airtime.
