“Lollipop” star Lil Wayne will debut his own brand of champagne this Fall. Weezy has developed four variations of his new Halo bubbly: Halo Brut, Halo Brut Vintage, Halo Rose and Halo Pinnacle.

“Champagne is for celebrating,” Lil’ Wayne said in a statement Tuesday. “I’m ready to put my foot in a new door. There are so many different business opportunities; I want to take advantage of it all.”

Lil Wayne sat down for a candid bit of Q&A in the new issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. Wayne became the first artist since 2005 to achieve platinum-selling status in the first week of release when his long-awaited Tha Carter III hit stores two weeks ago.

“Lollipop” sounds so different from anything else you’ve ever done. How did it come together?
My homeboy Static, the guy who’s on the song with me, it was all his idea. He brought the song to me with his vocals already on there, the beat was already done and I just laid my vocals to it. The decision to make it the single was evident right after I finished recording it. Everybody in the studio knew this was the one. We had some females in there and they were going crazy.

Your last album didn’t really have any breakout singles — were you trying to change that with this album?
I think you want to do that with every album. You want every record to be bigger than the last. That Tha Carter II didn’t do what I wanted it to do was a disappointment because I put my all into it, just like I did with this one, but I ain’t gonna dwell on it. I’m very successful and very happy.

Lil Wayne becomes the first artist since 50 Cent in 2005 to sell more than 1 million copies of an album in a single week now that Tha Carter III has gone platinum in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

According to early reports, Lil’ Wayne’s Tha Carter III sold more than 400,000 copies on its first day of release.
