The rapper and actress Lauren London welcomed a healthy baby boy on September 9, HipHollywood.com has learned.
“Lauren London and Dwayne Carter welcomed their healthy baby boy into the world on 09-09-09,” Lauren’s publicist confirms. “Everyone is happy and well.”
The Grammy-winning star already has a nine-year-old daughter, Reginae, from his marriage to childhood sweetheart Antonia Carter, as well as 10-month-old son Dwayne Michael Carter III – although the mother’s identity is unknown.
Wayne is expecting his fourth child with R&B star Nivea next month.
Speaking of the fruit of Lil Wayne’s loins, third or fourth baby-mama-to-be Nivea — who already has three children with ex-husband The-Dream — was spotted at a R&B showcase for her new artist management group Avalon Music Group in Atlanta over the weekend.
Lauren London is tired of the rumors. The ATL actress took to her Twitter page Monday to let us all know that Lil Wayne is the father of her unborn child — and that she’s more than happy to be Weezy Baby Mama #3….or is it #4? We never did quite figure out whether Lauren or Nivea is due to drop Wayne’s next crop of crotchfruit first.
Canadian rap sensation Drake has apologized for the Young Money set’s controversial performance of “Every Girl In The World” at last week’s 2009 BET Awards. Viewers and celebs alike were infuriated after Drake and Lil Wayne performed the popular single in the presence of Wayne’s young daughter, Reginae, and several of her friends.
In the song, Wayne and Drake rap about having sex with “every girl in the world,” which made the presence of Wayne’s preteen daughter and her friends upsetting to many viewers.
In an interview with Complex Magazine, Drake said he regrets the decision to bring the girls onstage.
“Yeah, it was just timed very poorly and it definitely wasn’t planned like that, but with that being said, it is what is,” Drake said. “I believe in Wayne and myself and it’s nothing we can’t bounce back from. To anyone who was offended, my personal apologies, it wasn’t intended to offend anybody.”
