Another “Real Housewife” could be headed for Divorce Court: Former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu-Hartwell, who appeared on the Bravo series during the first two seasons, has called it quits with her NFL pro husband, Ed Hartwell, after five years of marriage. The reality star hit Twitter over the weekend to clear up rumors about the separation.

“Sadly. We r seperated but wld NEVER b over money. That is so far frm the truth. Wish ppl cld respect ppl’s privacy during times like these,” Lisa wrote.

She later told one of her followers that the past few weeks have “been rough.”

The couple tied the knot in 2005 and have a 3-year-old son, Ed. Jr. The marriage was the second for Wu-Hartwell, who was previously wed to R&B crooner-turned-radio jock Keith Sweat.

This season, The Real Housewives of Atlanta will be getting dirty Down South without the help of socialite/mom Lisa Wu-Hartwell.

The former wife of R&B crooner Keith Sweat is leavng Bravo’s smash docu-soap after two seasons following the ever-popularly cited “creative differences” with show producers.

According to a scoop from Black Voices’ BV Buzz Column, Wu-Hartwell and the network have parted ways amicably after falling out over a sinister plan to “dramatize” Lisa’s life for the show’s forthcoming third season.

We hear the network wanted to add some scripted elements to Lisa’s life in an effort to attract more viewers. Lisa, 38, decided to gracefully bow out of the show rather than manufacture falsehoods to keep the checks rolling in.

A similar fate befell “boring” former ATL Housewife DeShawn Snow, who was booted and replaced with ’90s singing star Kandi Burruss during the show’s first season.

“They basically wanted to script elements of Lisa’s life and make her amp up the drama. She wasn’t with that at all. Lisa felt like if her real life alone wasn’t enough for the network, then maybe it was time for her to go,” squeals a spy.

Lisa will appear in only three episodes of the new season of RHOA. In addition, she will not appear in any of the promos for the new season — including the opening scene where the cast members are photographed holding the signature peach representing their home state of Georgia.

The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has already snagged a couple of new faces — noted attorney Phaedra Parks and model Cynthia Bailey.

The new season of RHOA is scheduled to premiere in October 2010.

Lisa married the “How Deep Is Your Love” crooner in 1991. During their 2003 split, both partners accused each other of infidelity, physical abuse, and theft. A judge utimately awarded Keith custody of Justin and Jordon. The singer has refused to sign a waiver allowing the boys to appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, says Lisa, 38, who appears on the RHOA with her second husband, former NFL star Ed Hartwell, and their 2-year-old son, EJ.

“I’ve already been seeing them four or five times a week, but now the time has come when I want to have them with me full-time,” Lisa explains. “I immediately filed for an appeal after the verdict, but I was never given a court date in five years. I’ve been afraid of the judicial system, but I’m finally taking the bull by the horns and trying to get my boys back again!”

Lisa and Keith are set to appear during a custody hearing in Fulton County (Georgia) Superior Court in October.

“If Keith has a hang-up about our sons being on TV, I would be fine with that. But Real Housewives is supposed to be a reality series, and the reality is that all the fans watching believe I only have one child,” she says. “Jordan and Justin understand what the show involves, and they’d love to do it. I adore all three of my sons — and I believe they all have a rightful place on the show.”

The former wife of R&B crooner Keith Sweat and her current husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, lost their multimillion dollar George mansion last week after the bank foreclosed on the home and sold it, TMZ.com has learned. The couple purchased the house for $2.9 million in 2007.

Lisa’s rep insists the reality personality and her family are surviving just “fine:”

“Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!”

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Lisa Wu Hart is suing her ex-husband, ’80s R&B crooner Keith Sweat, for custody of the pair’s two sons.

Keith and Lisa were married in 1992 and divorced in 2003. Keith won full custody after claims that Lisa was too career-driven to provide a stable lifestyle for Jordan Sweat, 14, and Justin Sweat, age 11.

According to court papers filed in the Superior Court of Fulton County and obtained by Access Atlanta on Monday, “The best interest of the minor children will be served by modifying the current custody and visitation provisions to make Mother the primary physical condition of the minor children. Since the time of the Divorce Decree, Mother has remarried, owns a successful business and will provide a stable, loving, and nurturing environment in which she can raise the minor children. Mother seeks primary physical custody and joint legal custody with final decision-making on all issues regarding the minor children. She will reasonably engage Father in good faith discussions before any final decisions are made concerning the children’s welfare.”

If she does get custody, she requests child support as well.
