Actress LisaRaye and Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick announced their intention to file for divorce in a statement released late Tuesday.
“I am announcing that I am separated from LisaRaye McCoy-Misick. I am committed to dissolving the marriage amicably. I believe that this is a private matter and will have no further comments. I hope that our privacy will be respected.”
The marriage has been plagued by rumors of infidelity by Misick, who was accused of cheating on LisaRaye with 106 & Park host Rocsi early last week. A publicist for the actress sent out a press release about the alleged indiscretion.
The politican has also been accused of raping a Puerto-Rican woman, described as a friend of LisaRaye.

Is Rocsi sleeping with LisaRaye’s husband?
A rep for actress LisaRaye released a statement over the weekend suggesting her husband, Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, has been engaging in an affair with 106 & Park VJ Rocsi.
“Sources have even reported that Rocsi stayed at the Misick home and hosted guests as if she was the lady of the house,” the release from publicity firm Lynn Allen Jeter & Associates read, adding that the two were seen “canoodling” during the T&C Music Festival while LisaRaye was attending a birthday party for Lil Kim in New York.
In March, an unnamed Puerto Rican friend of LisaRaye’s accused Michael of rape.

Allegations of sexual assault have sparked rumors of a split between LisaRaye McCoy and her husband, Turks and Caicos Islands Premiere Dr. Michael Misick. In April, Michael was accused of sexually assaulting an American citizen, reportedly a friend of his actress wife’s, who visited the couple’s home. He denied the accusations. Caribbean Net News is reporting that a divorce is on the horizon.
“I understand the interest my fellow Turks and Caicos Islanders have in this matter. But I hope they will understand that I have no comment to make at this time,” LisaRaye said in a public statement issued Tuesday.
