“Doo Doo Brown” and phrase like “Face Down, Ass Up” could become catchphrases around the Miami Mayor’s Mansion, if former 2 Live Crew frontman Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell gets his way.
The sex-charged hip-hopster has announced that he’s officially running for Mayor of Miami-Dade, Florida — the sunny city where he grew up and made a splash with his raunchy dance hits, several of which were censored back in the early ’90s. Though if elected, Campbell faces tough opposition due to his rapper past, he’s determined to focus on bringing job creation, affordable housing, and lower taxes to Miami.

Miami-sound hip hop pioneer Luke will join the VH1 Celebreality family with the debut of his new reality show, Luke’s Parental Advisory, premiering Aug. 4 at 10:30 p.m. on VH1. The series follows the day-to-day adventures of Luther “Luke” Campbell” as he runs his adult business Luke Entertainment Group and plans his wedding to fiancee Kristin.
Luther “Luke” Campbell has landed his own VH1 reality show. Luke will debut in Parental Advisory in July.
