“I have a feeling that this won’t be the last false statement with my name on it, but this will be the last time I defend myself. I’m done.”

A concert film of Michael Jackson’s final rehearsals will open in theaters this fall, according to reports.
Sony Pictures paid concert promoters AEG Live $60 million for the rights to footage shot during the late King of Pop’s rehearsals for the This Is It Concert Series, The Hollywood Reporter’s Showbiz 411 Column learned late Tuesday.
The tour would have opened at London’s O2 Arena last week — only two weeks after Michael’s death of a suspected heart attack. The film will hit theaters Friday, October 30.

Hip-hop producer has paid to the late King of Pop painting a portrait of the late superstar.
Turns out A. Keys’ still-married Buss It Baby is an avid art collector, and he created this mixed-media piece, featuring Jackson during his heyday as child star of The Jackson 5, as a tribute to the music icon.
Swizz calls the piece “Remember The Time.”
“R.I.P. MJ the great. I took some time out to do a dedication piece tonight instead of rocking in the studio,” said in a Tweet Tuesday.
Back in 1984, Michael Jackson and his brothers filmed a commercial for Pepsi-Cola that went horribly wrong and is now believed to have sparked the later pop legend’s lethal addiction to prescription painkillers.
On Wednesday, the previously unseen footage was released by UsMagazine.com.
The $1.5 million commercial — filmed at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles — used extreme pyrotechnics that famously caught MJ’s on fire. Michael, then 25, suffered second and third degree burns on his scalp and body.
