Erykah Badu and The Roots have teamed up to create a cover of the late Michael Jackson’s 1972 hit, “I Wanna Be Where You Are.” The original song was featured on MJ’s debut album, Got To Be There.

The public farewell service for pop legend Michael Jackson will take place on Tuesday, July 7 at 10AM at The Staples Center. The program will be simulcast at Los Angeles’ nearby Nokia Theatre.
No word on where the late King of Pop will be buried.

A public viewing for late pop star Michael Jackson will not happen at the singer’s former fantasyland at Neverland Ranch, the Jackson family announced in a statement on Wednesday afternoon.
“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly,” a rep for the family said.
