FOX News reports Michael Vick has accepted a plea deal for dogfighting charges. He will plead guilty to felony conspiracy next Monday and will likely serve twenty-four months behind bars. Mike’s codefendants each entered plea agreements and were prepared to testify against the Atlanta Falcons QB, fingering him in the hangings and drownings of at least eight dogs who were underachieving in dogfights. He deserves every day. What an asshat.

Allegations of dog-fighting against Atlanta Falcon’s quaterback Michael Vick have prompted Nike to suspend the release the Air Zoom Vick V later this summer. The Humane Society of the United States issued a statement calling upon Nike to pull its Vick clothing and shoes from retailers and from its web site.
