Beyonce’s 2006 dance anthem “Get Me Bodied” will provide the soundtrack for First Lady Michelle Obama’s anti-childhood obesity campaign.

The R&B superstar has re-recorded the hit single — which topped the charts when its was featured on Bey’s 2006 album B’Day — with alternative lyrics encouraging kids to maintain an active lifestyle as part of Obama’s Let’s Move initiative.

The devoted Republican, who had been Tweeting about Republican Scott Brown winning the US Senate seat in Massachusetts, Tweeted an unflattering photo of Michelle Obama, with the caption: “WOW He wakes up to this every morning.”

Within minutes, some Twitter followers began attacking Baio, 48, with some calling him racist. Many of his followers began leaving him instructions to kill himself.

“Easy to find your house Scottie boy and finish YOU,” one follower wrote. “I am a republican and I love Mrs O.” Another tweeted “YOU Scott Baio should be PUT DOWN and someone will PUT YOU DOWN.YOU;your WIFE and KID”

Baio immediately fired off a series of Tweets attempting to prove he is no racist.

“I’m NOT racist for posting a pic of M.O. My WIFE’S BEST FRD IS BLACK,HELLO,” he Tweeted.

Later, he tweeted: “If I’m racist, don’t think I would have Directed shows like The Parkers & The Wayans Bros. or worked 41 eps w/ Victoria Rowell on D.Murder.”

The postings spooked Scott who said he had sent the offending tweets to the FBI and has “a file number for the threats.”

He warned that the FBI is after all “death threaters” and this: “For New followers: I POST A LOT OF JOKES WITH PICS. They are JUST that, a joke. NOT targeting anyone. Laughter IS the best medicine.”

A New Bedford, Massachusetts woman is in federal custody in Hawaii after calling the Boston office of the Secret Service and threatening to kill Michelle Obama, the agency said Tuesday. Authorities say Kristy Lee Roshia flew to Hawaii as The First Family plans to travel to island with a plan to assasinate Mrs. Obama. Agents arrested Roshia on Saturday after she told them she knew where President Obama and his wife will be staying during a visit to the islands later this week.

On Nov. 10 of this year, Roshia, 35. allegedly called and told the receptionist: “I will kill Marines,” and “I will kill Michelle Obama.”

The Oscar and Grammy-winning star performed the National Anthem at the Democratic National Convention in 2008, when then-Senator Obama accepted the Democratic nomination for president.

Michelle Obama delivered the first-ever commencement speech — her first as First Lady — at the University of California, Merced in Merced, California on Saturday. The nearly 500 students receiving diplomas are the first graduating class since the small university opened its doors in 2005.

As the commencement speaker, Mrs. O told the graduates, “You will face tough times. You will certainly have doubts, and let me tell you because I know I did when I was your age.”

“Remember that you are blessed. Remember that in exchange for those blessings, you must give something back. You must reach back and pull someone up. You must bend down and let someone else stand on your shoulders so that they can see a brighter future.”

Legendary former supermodel Iman, 53, serves Michelle Obama a backhanded compliment in an interview featured in this week’s edition of Parade.

Iman tells Parade: “Mrs. Obama is not a great beauty…But she is so interesting looking and so bright. That will always take you farther. When you’re a great beauty, it’s always downhill for you. If you’re someone like Mrs. Obama, you just get better with age.”

First Lady Michelle Obama and Elmo encourage kids to eat healthy and exercise in a new public service announcement from the creators of Sesame Street.

During an appearance in NYC this week, Mrs. Obama called her partnership with the classic children’s television program of the most important things she’s done since moving into The White House.
