Comedian Wayne Brady and former boxing champion don black suits and bare chests to pay homage to “The Original King of R&B” — Bobby Brown — in this new slapping spoof of the ex-boy bander’s 1989 music video “Every Little Step.”

A dose of star power is on its way to ABC’s The View next week. Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe and former world heavyweight champion “Iron” Mike Tyson will appear on gabfest, the network announced on Wednesday. Sidibe — who won an Oscar nomination for her acting debut in the critically-acclaimed drama Precious — will be making her first appearance as a guest co-host next Tuesday, May 4.

On Friday, May 7, Tyson will visit daytime’s favorite cackling hens. It will be the first time that Mike’s shared the stage with Babs Walters since her memorable interview with Tyson and then-wife Robin Givens on ABC’s 20/20 22 years ago.

“I may have stopped fighting,” says the former heavyweight boxing champ. “But I never stopped flying birds. It’s my first love. I am a little worried about the sitcom effect. Mike Tyson and Animal Planet? They don’t seem to go together, do they?”

Mike has been caring for pigeons since he was about 10 or 11, but has never raced the creatures. These days, Mike owns “a few hundred birds” in two lofts outside Manhattan.

Taking on Tyson begins shooting next month in Mike’s native Brooklyn.

“Mike is so delighted. It has been an amazing year for him so far,” says a rep for the boxing legend.

In 1986, then 20-year-old Tyson became the youngest man in history to ever win the WBC, WBA, and IBF world heavyweight titles.

“I was really hurt, really, really hurt,” Givens told Winfrey of the TV show host’s and her audience’s reaction to the boxer’s October Oprah show comments about the actress’ 1988 Barbara Walters interview. Tyson previously claimed on Oprah’s show that Givens lied during the interview and he added, “At that particular moment, I truly wanted to sock her, but I didn’t do it,” as the “Oprah” audience laughed.

Robin, who claims Mike battered her throughout their shortlive marriage is a spokesperson for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, said the reaction was difficult to take.

“I just wanted you… When he said ‘I’ve socked her before,’ to say, ‘That’s not right!’ And it wasn’t right and it was painful,” she said tearing up. “There are so many women like me out there… if you hear laughter about it, it lightens it.”

Domestic violence has been a hot topic on Oprah recently, with The Queen of Talk feuding with crooner Chris Brown after he said he was upset she did not help him out following his assault on Rihanna in February, and for doing a show on domestic violence not long after the incident. More recently, O pulled the plug on an interview with gospel legend BeBe Winans after coming under fire for taping an interview with the star, who is facing domestic assault charges.

The boxing champ formerly known as the “Baddest Man On The Planet” was detained by police on suspicion of battery following an incident involving a photographer at a United Airlines ticket counter. The photographer claims “Iron Tyson” attacked him, knocking him to the ground and cutting his forehead in an brawl this afternoon. The photog is being treated at a local hospital.

A rep for the boxer, on the other hand, tells The AP Mike — who has adopted a more mellow approach to life after serving time in prison and spending years as a hellraiser — was traveling with his wife and 10-month-old baby when the family was pounched by the photographer. The rep says Tyson acted in self-defense.

“There’s a lot of different versions to this story and that’s all going to come out later,” said Tyson’s spokesperson Tammy Holcomb. “There were numerous witnesses and that’s what this whole case is going to depend on. Right now he is very compliant, very cooperative. He’s just waiting in one of our holding cells.”

Both the shutterbug and Mike want to press misdemeanor battery charges. Mike, now 43, lost his 4-year-old daughter Exodus in a choking accident last May.

“You don’t want to know?” Oprah asked

“If I know, then there might be a blame for it,” Iron Mike replied. “And if there’s somebody to blame for it, there will be a problem.”

He added: “My first instinct was a lot of rage, you know, and I was so happy that I had the tools in life, you know, to not go in that direction because I’ve been that direction. I know where that’s gonna lead me. I know I’m not gonna win.”

“I really was beating myself up over my daughter. I was staying in the house, depressed; it was a dark moment in my life. [Acting] keeps me functioning as a healthy human being,” the one-time boxing world champ told Entertainment Tonight on Thursday.

“I am working with dealing with it. I have spoken to a lot of people. I have become a member of an exclusive club no one wants to join. I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it. I am going through a process, trying to heal. I am in denial, because I don’t know how to handle it. I don’t know what to do or say. I appreciate everybody who supported me….”
