BET is expected to unveil reality shows about R&B star Monica, Everybody Hates Chris actor Terry Crews, and comedienne Mo’Nique –all expected to premiere in the fall– during the network’s upfront presentation to advertisers next week.

According to EUR, BET has greenlit “Breakin’ Up With Mo’Nique” will mark the network’s first late-night talk show, “Monica: Standing Up” will focus on the singer’s attempt to launch a comeback following an unpopular album, and “Crews Control” will focus on the actor, his wife and five children.

Brandy and Monica performed an acappella version their 1998 classic “The Boy Is Mine” at an Atlanta hotspot on early Thursday.

R&B staple Monica and her two sons, Romelo and Lil Rock, are featured in two new advertisements for the singer’s new Regions of Rock clothing line, currently in production.

Monica has selected the Ludacris-assisted track “Still Standing” to serve as the first single off of her forthcoming sixth album, Still Standing.

Rock It or Drop It?

Two babies and still no wedding band for Monica. Monica and longtime boyfriend “Rock” welcomed the birth of their second son on Tuesday. The baby’s first name is so far undecided, but he will carry the middle name Montez, after Monica’s brother.

The baby weighed in at 5 lbs., 6 oz. and was 19½ inches long.

Atlanta-based R&B diva Monica and her long-time fiancé, producer Rodney “Rock” Hill, are reportedly expecting a baby due in January. Monica and Rock already have a two year old son together.

Celebrity tattles are dishing that Monica has split with her fiance of four years/baby daddy Rodney “Rock” Hill Jr.

According to spywitnesses, Rock allegedly cheated on Monica with an Atlanta area stripper and the R&B songstress ousted him from the couple’s Georgia mansion.

Why is he still her fiance after four years? Ladies, if he hasn’t wifed you four years after popping the question, don’t hold your breath.

It’s been a busy week for Monica. The J Records recording artist came underfire last week on a number of blogs following the surface of her almost two year old son Rodney III in a Sean John ad that features the toddler wearing what some people describe as “thug wear.”

R&B diva Monica seems to have the worst luck with men. A twenty-three year old Atlanta women is accusing Monica’s man/father of her son Rodney Hill of going upside her head at the Platinum Party hosted by Young Jeezy at ATL’s Velvet Room.

An anonymus Myspace user has created a page, http://www.myspace.com/158335190, to give eyewitness testimony of the alleged altercation:

On 2/11/07, the night of Young Jeezy’s platinum party in Atlanta, GA at the Velvet Room. The party was packed to the brim. People were pushing to get close to Jeezy. We where in vip which there were a lot of people pushing back and forth. A young woman that stood 4′11, she probably weigh at least 100lbs was standing in front of Monica’s fiance “Rodney Hill”. From what I witness she mistakely touch Rodney’s glasses and he started to go off and while she was apologizing to him he grab her by her hair and pull her down and punched her. I was soooooooo shock from what I was seeing. When the young lady got up her eye was closed shut! But Rodney wasn’t done yet. He almost started to attack the young woman’s friend with a bottle. Up until now I highly respect Monica. I am probably one of her biggest fan since Miss Thang days, but she and her abusive fiance showed their true colors that night. Even when everyone was outside and they were talking to the police, she wanted to start more trouble, by saying “I got the piece in my Louie” as if she wanted to do something to the girls. Rodney did not get locked up for this niether did they take a statement from him. This type of activity is unacceptable that she would let her fiance hit on a small woman. I would have the pictures of the woman’s eye up in a couple of hours.
