“The Songstress” has done it again. Marsha Ambrosius drew attention to the subject of homophobia and the recent of suicides in the gay community with her “Far Away” music video. Now the former star of the neo-soul supergroup Floetry is raising awareness about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the importance of safe sex in the vid for her latest single, “Late Nights, Early Mornings,” the title track from her current solo album.

Another new music video from Rihanna’s Loud album arrived on this week. The promo for “Man Down,” the fifth single from Loud, features the singer shooting a guy who abuses her. It was filmed in Jamaica in April.

Beyonce’s legs rule in “Run the World (Girls)” video. The hotly-anticipated promo debuted during American Idol Wednesday. Did you catch it? The Mad Max-y video was filmed by Water for Elephants director Francis Lawrence over three days in Los Angeles and the Mojave Desert, and features more than 200 dancers and exotic animals. We haven’t been this excited about a pop star’s dance moves since the premiere of “Single Ladies.”

“Run the World (Girls)” us the lead single off of Beyonce’s fourth solo album, 4, is due for release from Columbia Records on Tuesday, June 28.

Beyonce is hoping for a stroke of luck as she plots to release the first music video in support of her upcoming fourth studio album, dropping this summer.
Ahead of its official premiere this Friday, May 13, Beyonce has released a new teaser video for “Run The World (Girls).” The songstress appears in some hot fashions in the 40-second clip, which features flashes of a red Beyonce flag throughout.

Kanye West’s video for “Monster” has been temporarily pulled by MTV following a series of complaints from feminist groups. The video, which also features Jay-Z, Rick Ross and Nicki Minaj, features various depictions of dead women and numerous women’s rights activists are not happy.
