The first music video from Michael Jackson‘s first posthumous album arrived online Thursday. The song, “Hold My Hand,” is the lead single from the album Michael and features rapper/singer Akon.
We’re getting our first sneak peek at Kanye West’s upcoming music video, “Monster.” The promo features a heavy-hitting cast of hip-hop royalty, including Jay-Z, Rick Ross, and Nicki Minaj. And what’s more, the video’s unusual and menacing concept has people buzzing that it could rival Michael Jackson‘s 1982 short film epic “Thriller.”
In this 30-second preview released on Wednesday, fans are treated to edgy themes straight out of a Wes Craven film with West kissing emaciated European models, Ross sitting among models hung from their necks like cuts of meat, and Minaj snaking around on the floor like a python.
An official release date has not yet been announced.
One Woman. One Mic. One Voice. Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss pays a touching tribute her late fiance, AJ Jewell, in the somber video promo for “Haven’t Loved Right” — the second single from the former Xscape singer’s forthcoming solo effort, Kandi-Koated.
Jewell died in Oct. 2009 after a brawl with a patron outside the Atlanta strip club he co-owned turned fatal. Jewell, who suffered from sickle cell anemia, bled out at the scene.

The Lady Killer’s back on the scene with a new video promo — hot on the heels of his “Song of the Year” Grammy nomination for the profane breakup anthem “Fuck You!”
Beware Ladies, Raheem’s too hot for YouTube. Usually-righteous R&B star Raheem DeVaughn abandons the romanticism he displayed on hit ballads like “You“ and “Desire.” Not to mention the social consciousness that was his calling card on “My People” for a more raunchy tune, “She’s Single,” a track featured on from Raheem’s latest mixtape, Jackin 4 Beats. The disc dropped Nov. 29 and host a variety of tunes, including this one, which was “jacked” from Lil Wayne’s “Single.”
YouTube censors were so taken aback by the simulated sexuality in Raheem’s “She’s Single” vid (Complete with 69 and reverse cowgirl…), the promo has been banned from the web’s leading video sharing website.
No vids made that big a splash since Ciara showed us how she does her Kegal Exercises in the “Ride” video — but we can’t help but shudder at the thought that a talented soul stirrer like Raheem had to resort to such distract measures to get his just desserts.
