Crazy Naomi has targeted her wrath toward her lookalike supermodel Jessica White from her star-studded 40th birthday party at Hotel du Cap in the South of France last weekend.
“The door girl told her she’d lose her job if she let Jessica in,” a spywitness squealed to The New York Post’s PageSix Column on Tuesday. “Naomi’s always been jealous of her because they look similar, except Jessica is 15 years younger.”
Among those present in the party were Jennifer Lopez, disgraced Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, and British designer Sir Philip Green.
Just when we thought Naomi Campbell was starting to ease off on the temper tantrums, she’s unleashed the beast again: Naomi stormed out of an interview with ABC News after being quizzed about whether she accepted a blood diamond from an African warlord more than a decade ago. Just when you thought Naomi Campbell had left her violent past in an anger management class, authorities in New York City are hot in pursuit of the British runway diva, who they accuse of going upside the head of her limo driver in the middle of Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Associated Press, the 39-year-old model became enraged with her cab driver and started hitting him from the back seat on Tuesday afternoon. The official says the driver stopped the car in midtown Manhattan and called 911. Naomi jumped out of the car and fled on foot.
It’s not the first time Naomi’s shortfuse has left someone with bodily injuries. In 2007, Campbell pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless assault after attacking her housekeeper with a cell phone. She was sentenced to anger management classes and community service that time. In 2008, she was ordered to undertake 200 hours of community service as punishment for assaulting two police officers on board a British Airways flight at London’s Heathrow Airport.
Naomi Campbell believes the recession is preventing black models getting work.
The outspoken supermodel claims advertising executives shy away from using ethnic models in their campaigns because they “don’t dare” risk losing sales.
“This year, we have gone back all the way that we had advanced. I don’t see any black woman, or of any other race, in big advertising campaigns,” Naomi lamented in Sunday’s issue of The Telegraph.
Last summer, the volatile 39-year-old appeared in Vogue Italia’s Black Issue, in celebration of Black women in fashion.
“That made some noise but, unfortunately, we are the same as before. People, in the panic of recession, don’t dare to put a girl of colour in their campaign, full stop.”
Naomi Campbell is hanging up her high heels for good after 25 years of strutting her stuff on the catwalk.
The often-volatile supermodel has announced plans to retire from runway modeling because she is anxious to settle down and start a family.
The London-born beauty is currently dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.
The modeling industry gives preference to “blond, blue-eyed models,” according to razor-tongued supermodel Naomi Campbell.
“You know, the American President may be black, but as a black woman, I am still an exception in this business,” Naomi says in the new issue of Glamour Magazine Germany.
“I always have to work harder to be treated equally. In the past, there were more opportunities for black models but the trend towards blond women has again become extreme. In magazines, on the catwalk, I see blond, blue-eyed models everywhere.”
Naomi Campbell is about to launch a collection of swimwear in the South American nation of Brazil.
“I’ve started my own fashion range in Brazil. It’s bathing suits and apparel, so it’s not really like fashion or Dolce Gabbana. It’s more like easy [wear].”
