In case you needed further confirmation that it is no longer 2002 — Nelly has flopped on the charts. Even a Top 10 single in the form of the hit “Just a Dream,” Nelly’s latest album, 5.0, landed at a disappointing No. 10 on the Billboard 200, selling a mere 63,000 copies.

Police in St. Louis are looking for an intruder who broke into rapper Nelly’s house early this morning and fled with a duffel bag full of goods.
County police spokesman Rick Eckhard said Friday the suspect entered and left through a window in Nelly’s home in the St. Louis suburb of Wildwood. Police were called at 7AM.
Nelly, whose name is Cornell Haynes, Jr., was not home at the time.
Nelly and Ashanti have called it quits after nearly five years of dating.
