Nicki Minaj has reportedly been involved in a domestic scuffle with a housekeeper, prompting cops to come to the singer’s home.

The backstory to all this begins a couple of weeks ago; Word is Nicki’s maid took a picture of the singer out of her garbage and asked Nicki to sign it. In turn, Nicki got angry and fired the maid. According to TMZ (and the cops), the maid came back to Nicki’s home today, which got the singer all fired up again.

Spywitnesses say the maid stood her ground, despite Nicki’s anger, demanding not to be “treated like an animal.” Nicki allegedly shouted back: “I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal…Get the fuck out of my house!” But this is where things get a bit complicated. A few sources have said that Nicki actually made a mistake – that the maid that showed up at her house was not the same maid she fired. And according to TMZ, a few sources have backed up the “mistaken identity” claim.

Whichever maid it was, Nicki’s boyfriend allegedly started pushing the woman with his body, prompting her to call the police. When the authorities showed up, the maid originally asked to make a citizen’s arres, before backing down, meaning no one was taken into custody in the end.

Well…this is embarrassing. Femcee Nicki Minaj joined the infamous “Wardrobe Malfunction Club” during her performance on the Good Morning America “Summer Concert Series” Friday. Hundreds of “Barbies” gathered at Central Park’s Rumsey Field got more than they bargained for when the “Roman’s Revenge” hitmaker’s tata made an impromptu cameo mid-song.

Even the almighty Parents Television Council (PTC) has something to say about the snafu. The media watchdog group is taking GMA to task for not using the five-second delay, which would have prevented the rapper’s left nip slip to be broadcast.

“For the umpteenth time in recent memory a morning news show has included inappropriate content for children and families,” says Tim Winter, President of the PTC.

Meanwhile, ABC says the network did indeed have a five-second delay this morning, but the boob flash was just too quick to catch.

A spokesperson for the network tells TMZ: “Although we had a five-second delay in place for the Nicki Minaj concert on ‘GMA ,’ the live East Coast feed of the concert regrettably included certain fleeting images of the performer that were taken out of later feeds of the broadcast in other time zones. We are sorry that this occurred.”

Things had been going well prior to the nipple slip. Dressed in one of her signature over-the-top ensembles, the audience cheered as Nicki turned in a medley of hits from her 2010 LP, Pink Friday — including “Super Bass,” “Where Them Girls At,” and “Moment 4 Life.”

Will the Harajuku Barbie bring her animated facial expressions and buxom bod to the FOX TV talent show circuit? Nicki Minaj is in talks with Simon Cowell to judge the hotly-awaited singing competition The X Factor, premiering this summer.

The Queens-bred femcee met with Cowell in Los Angeles a few weeks ago to discuss the possibility of joining the program, an source revealed to The New York Post’s Page Six Column over the weekend.

“Simon thinks Nicki is fantastic. She’s sassy, she looks great and she has bags of personality. Nicki has a large following and she fits well with the ethos of the show, which plans to usher in a new generation of musical talent,” says an insider.

“X Factor’ is aiming for a younger audience. Those aged 12 and over can audition, and [the English version has] launched successful artists from other genres of music than pop. This isn’t a done deal yet, but Nicki would be great for the show. She fits the ideal that ‘X Factor’ will be exciting, vibrant and different. And the show would also be great for her career.”

Last week, hotshot record executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid — who shepherded acts such as Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi and Justin Bieber in his six years as chairman of Island Def Jam — resigned from the imprint to join Cowell on The X Factor judging panel.

“L.A. was my No. 1 choice to sit alongside me on the show,” Cowell said in a statement issued Friday. “In my opinion, he is one of the greatest ever music executives and, of course, a fantastic writer and producer. I am thrilled he has agreed to join the show, and for any artist auditioning, they know they have the chance to meet a true star-maker.”

Other celebs also courted for starring roles on the X Factor judging panel include ’80s pop star George Michael, Mariah Carey, Jessica Simpson, and Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger.

Auditions for the show will start in Los Angeles on March 27, followed by stops in Miami, Newark, Seattle, Chicago, and Dallas. Contestants will compete for a $5 million recording contract.

The X Factor debuts this September.

The Pink Friday star has signed on to appear as the featured spokemodel for electronics giant Casio, a business move that will put Minaj in competition with Young Money label mate Drake, who joined Rihanna, rapper Pitbull and singer Trey Songz in Kodak’s “So Kodak” earlier this year.

The deal means Nicki will be featured prominently in print and TV spots promoting the debut of Casio’s new digital camera, the Casio Tryx.

“Casio is thrilled to have Nicki Minaj help us launch TRYX here in the U.S. Just as Nicki brings a unique, exciting and fresh perspective to the world of hip-hop, Casio looks to do the same with TRYX and the digital imaging industry. Nicki’s enthusiasm adds tremendous value to TRYX OUT: NYC 2011, and the unquestionable ‘wow’ factor of her performance will help make this the ultimate launch event befitting such a game changing product,” said Toshi Iguchi, Senior General Manager, Digital Imaging Division, Casio America Inc.

I’m excited to be part of the Tryx Out: Nyc 2011 launch party and look forward to working together with Casio to make sure this camera gets the party it deserves!,” Minaj said in a statement this week. “With a Tryx in my hand, there’s no doubt that I’ll be able to take incredible images and video on tour and beyond.”

Minaj will help launch the gadget with a special performance at the Best Buy Theater in New York City April, 7. Hip-hop group and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon house band The Roots will also perform at the event.
