Ever wonder whatever happened to the little boy featured on the cover of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s iconic 1994 debut album — Ready to Die? We can hardly believe its been 17 years since the release of the album that brought us hip-hop classics like “Unbelievable,” “Warning,” and the Method Man-assisted “The What.” Well, all these years later that little boy with the big smile and the full afro has come forward as an 18-year-old New York City high school senior.
“Every time people find out they ask me if I got a lot of money out of it,” says Keithroy Yearwood, who was handpicked from by a modeling agency for the gig and made $150 for the two-hour photoshoot.
Wax figures of slain rap legends Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. will be posed together for three months in an exhibit opening this week at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington DC. Read the rest of this entry »
