MTV has a sneak peek at the forthcoming Notorious B.I.G Movie.

The Los Angeles Times has been had. Last week, the publication ran a report claiming that the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur in the lobby of a Manhattan recording studio was carried out by associates of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Biggie Smalls, and Jimmy Henchmen, The Smoking Gun is now reporting that story was an elaborate daydream created by incarcerated con man James Sabatino. Here’s the first look of Jamal “Gravy” Woolard in character as Biggie Smalls in the upcoming film Notorious.

In a published report on Monday, L.A. Times columnist Chuck Phillips claiming that Biggie, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond, and Colombo crime family head James Sabatino were behind 1994 robbery and shooting of Tupac Shakur in New York City. Jamal Woolard, a Brooklyn-based rapper best known as “Gravy,” has been tapped to play rap icon Biggie Smalls, in the upcoming biopic Notorious, which is set for a January 2008 release. ‘Beautiful Girls’ hitmaker Sean Kingston will portray slain hip-hop icon Notorious B.I.G. in an upcoming Diddy-produced biopic. Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace, and his two former managers, Wayne Barrow and Mark Pitts, played a key role in casting the Kingston, Jamaica native.
