Remy Ma’s jailhouse nuptials to Papoose were abruptly cancelled on Monday after the Brooklyn-bred MC tried to bust Rem out of Rikers Island!!

Papoose showed up with a most curious wedding present: a handcuff key, the New York Daily News reports.

According to the NYDN:

“A wedding was scheduled today and a visitor to that wedding service was found to be in possession of jail contraband so the wedding was canceled,” a corrections official said in a press statement on Monday.

“The key that was found today easily opened handcuffs that we and other law enforcement officials use….The visitor was sanctioned by not being able to visit Rikers Island again for 6 months…He was asked to leave.”

Pap- real name Shamele Mackie – won’t be able to see his again fiancee until November, thanks to his little attempted Prison Break. The couple never did make it to their wedding ceremony.

Remy Ma will sentenced on Tuesday (Tomorrow) for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach outside New York City nightclub the Pizza Bar last July.

The ceremony will take place just a day before Rem is sentenced for shooting former friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the Meatpacking District last July during an argument over $2,000.

Wedding bells will ring Monday for jailed hip-hop star Remy Ma, who plans to marry her boyfriend, rapper Papoose, on Rikers Island, a source close to the rapper said.

The bride and groom will be allowed two guests each for the ceremony.

50 Cent’s war against Fat Joe just got a new warrior-Brooklyn MC Papoose. Papoose says things got physical with Fat Joe backstage at a North Carolina concert over the weekend.

According to 50’s Official Website:

“Sources from Cassidy’s crew tell us that Cassidy had asked Papoose to come to his room so they could talk. Papoose eventually came to his room and while the two rappers were talking, all of the sudden Fat Joe and 9 Members of his Entourage storm right into Cassidy’s room. Fat Joe suddenly starts yelling at Papoose, “You Got A Problem With Me?” and Papoose replied, “No, do you have a problem?” When Fat Joe responds ” yeah, I got a problem with you,” thats when Papoose swung at Fat Joe, punching him in the face twice.”

Pap told San Francisco radio station KMEL 106 on Monday:

“I’m from Brooklyn, we don’t bow down to nobody, we don’t take no BS from nobody,” Pap says. “Dude came at me sideways and chose to approach me with a bunch of bodyguards and asked me did I have a problem with him. I asked him did he have a problem with me. We got into a scuffle and I did what I did. I put my work in. Dude caught a fair one, Fat Joe,” he continued. “I told him all my men step outside, my two dudes, I only had two dudes with me, he had like nine or ten with him, and we’ll do the one on one. He didn’t wanna do that. He refused. So we just got it on like that. I got it on with all them dudes. You can’t deny the fact that I put my work in.”
