Just a suggestion: Paul Wall is not the rapper you want to disrespect in the middle of a set, because The People’s Champ will buss you upside the head with a microphone!
The Houston-born MC got violent with a fan at the Low Low Car Show in San Antonio Sunday after the dude stood in front of the stage and flipped Paul off.
“I want to sincerely apologize to my San Antonio Fans … for allowing myself to become distracted during my recent performance,” Paul, a married dad of one, said in a statement Tuesday. “I apologize for temporarily taking my eyes off that goal. I will learn and grow from this incident and be a better person, artist and performer as a result.”
Houston rapper Paul Wall is teaming up with his wife, Crystal Slayton, to launch a new TV reality series.
The “Sittin’ Sidewayz” star and his wifey are shopping a show that will welcome cameras into their home to give fans an insight into Paul’s life as a family man and father to the couple’s three-year-old son, William.
Crystal hopes the still-untitled program will dispel any rumors about her image as the spouse of a hip-hop star.
“People automatically think a rapper is involved with drugs and hoes – anything negative – so automatically, they assume that a rapper’s wife is gonna be some kind of hoodrat. The show is gonna expose the good, bad and the ugly, and also that the stereotypical idea of what a rapper’s wife would be is not necessarily the truth.”
