Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood are collaborating on the single Just Stand Up that will be featured as part the Stand Up To Cancer campaign. The song was, produced Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “L.A.” Reid, will go on-sale at iTunes September 2nd.

Tune in for a live performance of “Just Stand Up” during the Stand Up To Cancer Special, airing on ABC, CBS, NBC at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

United States Postal Service Josephine Baker Stamp

The U.S Postal Service unveiled a stamp honoring legendary entertainer Josephine Baker on a stamp that reproduces a poster from her 1935 French film Princess Tam-Tam. The image was part of a commemorative series of postage stamps honoring vintage black films.

Halle Berry is the “Sexiest Black Woman Alive,” according to a new countdown from TV One. Jamal Munnerlyn and former Fresh Prince star Tatyana Ali will host Countdown: The 16 Sexiest Black Women Alive on Sunday, July 6 on TV One, the network announced Wednesday. The list also includes Paula Patton and Tyra Banks.

“The women selected as our 16 sexiest black women aren’t just pretty faces. Each one of them is uniquely talented, strong-minded and self-assured,” says Monique Chenault, Senior Producer, TV One Access. Now what could be sexier than that?”
