
Had he lived, Richard Pryor would have celebrated his 70th birthday this month, so in his honor SIRIUS XM will launch Richard Pryor Radio, a four-day uncensored channel devoted to the comedian’s decades of groundbreaking — And dare we say profane? — body of work.
Richard Pryor Radio will launch Dec. 30 at 5 AM ET and will run through 11:59 PM ET on Jan. 2 on SIRIUS Channel 108 and XM Channel 139. The channel will feature hundreds of tracks from Pryor’s live concert performances, stand-up gigs, and comedy albums spanning 1968-1992.

You gotta love Richard Pryor. The iconic comedian is still bringing the funny from The Other Side. In her new memoir, FOXY: My Life in Three Act, ’70s sex symbol Pam Grier is extremely forthcoming about her romance with Pryor…and the lasting impact he made on her vagina.
Grier says she and Richard broke up in part because the dope dick he was hitting her with led to a dangerous buildup of the drug in her vagina.

Chris Rock’s stance on dog-fighting has come back to bite him in the — well, you get the picture. The comedian and documentarian behind the critically-acclaimed side-splitter Good Hair has been dumped from a upcoming biopic based on the life of late comedy icon Richard Pryor after defending convicted dog killer Michael Vick during an appearance on The Jay Leno Show earlier this month, The National Enquirer reports.

“What the hell did Michael Vick do, man? A dog, a pit bull ain’t even a real dog. A pit bull, that’s the white stuff. Dogs are white man’s best friend – dogs have never been good to black people,” Chris quipped

Marlon Wayans — primarily known for his comedic roles in Wayans Bros.’ movies such as Dance Flick and White Chicks — is in advanced discussions to play iconic comedian Richard Pryor in the upcoming biopic Richard Pryor: Is it Something I Said, Entertainment Weekly has learned. Eddie Murphy was originally attached to star in the project –produced by Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Prods. and Sony Pictures — but he dropped out over conflicts with Paramount Pictures.
