T.I. and Rihanna are among the latest round of performers scheduled take the stage at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards next month. T.I. will be making his first appearance at a major awards show since his arrest on gun charges last June.
Take A Bow, Rihanna. You’re broke! At least that is the story from the Barbadian-beauty’s recently ousted accountant, Patricia Williams. In this new tell-all interview, Rihanna’s now ex-business manager claims she was fired “for no good reason, all in ignorance” after she tried to tell the singer that someone has made off with the majority of her money.
Patricia says:
“I’m a professional Business Manager, I have a staff of more than a dozen, I have worked for many high profile actors, musicians and multi-million dollar corporations. Why would I steal from Rihanna?” She continues, “I showed her all the paperwork and tried to explain to her the circumstances but she wouldn’t listen. She called me all sorts of horrible names and stormed off. I now feel compelled to share with the world the background story as I will not allow my name to be slandered”

Rihanna says she was the victim of discrimination as a child growing up in Barbados because of her light skin.
“Having lighter skin wasn’t a problem in my household, but it was when I went to school -which really confused me at first,” the twenty year-old Grammy winner said in the August issue of In Style Magazine.
“The harassment continued to my very last day of elementary school.”
Barbadian pop singer Rihanna has been selected as the spokesmodel for Gucci’s first UNICEF ad campaign. The star will appear in the fashion house’s Tattoo Heart campaign, premiering in December. Rihanna will be photographed in series of special edition print ads with UNICEF items, twenty-five percent of product sales will benefit the children’s charity.
When it comes to Rihanna’s style of dress, Chris Brown wants the Barbadian beauty to cover up and tone it down! The “Run It” singer has asked his rumored girlfriend to adopt a more demure wardrobe.
“Chris adores her, but he gets a little jealous when she’s strutting her stuff,” a Chris snitch reveals to Star. “She’s sexy and likes to dress sexy….Her stage costumes are racy, and when she’s not performing, she likes to dress to impress.”
