“Deuces” has been aces for bad boy R&B artist Chris Brown — He’s up for three prizes at next month’s 53rd Annual Grammy Awards — but the crooner may have a legal melee on his hands if a judge doesn’t modify a restraining order that prevents him from coming within 100 yards of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. As we’ll all recall, Brown assaulted the “Umbrella” star in a rental car the night before the 2009 Grammys, resulting in a host of legal troubles for the once clean-cut star — including said protective order.
Singing star Rihanna and baseball ace Matt Kemp have reportedly ended their nearly year-long relationship, just weeks after Matt’s odd behavior with an unidentified female outside a Los Angeles nightclub prompted allegations that the Dodgers outfielder, 26, was a cheater.
Chris Brown is working his way to forgiveness — at least from the California legal system. On Thursday, a Los Angeles judge commended the R&B singer during a probation progress report hearing.
Brown is serving five years of probation after pleading guilty last year to assaulting Rihanna in a rented sports car after a pre-Grammy Awards party.
The singer, 21, arrived early to the courthouse with his attorney Mark Geragos to report on his progress to the judge. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said that he has shown impressive grades so far. Schnegg said the R&B singer has completed roughly 73 of 180 days of community service and is almost finished with his required domestic violence counseling.

The upbeat dancehall/pop track was produced by Stargate, written by Ester Dean, and features Toronto hip-hopster Drake.
