Never One to Let the Public Miss Her a Little Bit — It’s time for a new tune from Bajan Mama Rihanna. The Grammy-winning pop tart premiered her brand new single — “Only Girl (In the World)” — during Tuesday morning’s edition of “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest.”
The song is produced by Stargate and serves as the first single to Rihanna’s forthcoming album — Loud –which is due in November. The euro-pop number currently follows the dance trend that is hitting up the dancefloor these days. It’s like “Please Don’t Stop the Music” on a caffeine rush and sure to become a hit for the Rated R hitmaker!
An iTunes arrival date and album release date have not yet been confirmed.
Rihanna brought her Last Girl On Earth Tour to the Staples Center in Los Angeles overnight. The Bajan Mama was joined onstage by special guest Eminem, where the music superstars performed their smash hit, “Love The Way You Lie!”

Drake made headlines earlier this month when he publicly revealed his disappointment over the abrupt end to his relationship with pop superstar Rihanna. The Bajan Mama allegedly dropped Drake like a sack of potatoes after the pair romanced one another in 2009. Despite any sour grapes the two may have share, Rihanna counts the Pride of Toronto a formidable artist.
“Right now I’m listening to Drake, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Ke$ha,” she told E! News while in Israel this week. When the interviewer asked about a possible collaboration with Drake, Rihanna replied: “I hope so ‘cause he’s really, really talented, and I think he’s one of the illest lyricists out there right now, so I would love to work with him.”
The star is currently dating baseball ace Matt Kemp.
