Robin Thicke is a new dad!
The “Sex Therapy” crooner and his actress wife Paula Patton — former high school sweethearts — welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Julian, on Tuesday evening, according to Robin’s tourmate, singer Alicia Keys. Robin is an opening act on Alicia’s “Freedom” tour, along with Canadian songbird Melanie Fiona, and A. Keys revealed news of Julian’s arrival to Robin’s fans on stage at last night’s show, according to The Los Angeles Times.
A rep for Thicke tells PEOPLE.com: “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”

Blue-eyed soul crooner Robin Thicke treated fans to a bit of “Sex Therapy” on Friday’s Ellen.
Robin Thicke has revealed the sex of the baby he’s expecting with pregnant wife, actress Paula Patton: the high school sweetheart is expecting a boy.
“Teaching him how to respect a woman. Teaching him music. Getting to play him Biggie Smalls at some age, we’ll experience that together,” the 32-year-old crooner tells Essence.com of some of the life lessons he hopes to impart to his son. “That’s the beauty of having a child.”
Robin does have some fears about being a first-time parent.
“I’m afraid of not being patient enough, but most of the time that’s when I’m scared or worried about the future,” Thicke says. “I want to work on that. But my biggest fear is being able to be there, because I don’t know if kids ever think their parents were there enough.”
“Sex Therapy” star Robin Thicke performed his single “Shakin’ It For Daddy” with Young Money’s Nicki Minaj on 106 & Park Monday, Dec. 14.
Robin Thicke and his wife, Precious actress Paula Patton, have picked out a baby name according to PEOPLE. “We like Julian if it’s a boy and Isabella if it’s a girl,” the crooner said.
The couple, high school sweethearts who married in 2005, are due in May.
