In a new interview with MTV News, once acclaimed producer Scott Storch talks about how he squandered a nearly $30 million fortune on cocaine and a lavish lifestyle.

Scott says he is now on the road to recovery and back in the studio working on new music.

Bankrupt producer Scott Storch has been charged with grand theft auto in Florida after leasing a Bentley that he never returned.

The musician entered a not guilty plea in Broward County Court last Friday. It took the leasing company seven months to find the vehicle.

“We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge,” Scott’s lawyer, Bradford M. Cohen, said in a statement. “There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrong doing on behalf of my client.”

The housing crisis hits hip-hop. SunTrust Bank moved earlier this month to foreclose on the $10 million Palm Island, Miami home of cash-strapped record producer Scott Storch, according to Miami-Dade County records obtained by Page 2.1.

Scott is in default on two SunTrust mortgages worth $7.75 million for the 10-bedroom, 16-bath mansion= he hasn’t made any monthly payments for most of the year.

A Miami judge issued a warrant for Scott Storch’s arrest, The Miami Herald reports. The financially-strapped hip hop producer is facing jail time for failing to show up to a child support hearing in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.

“You are hereby commanded to take into your custody Scott Spencer Storch,” the warrant reads.

After suffering under the siege of “Going Broke” rumors for months, Scott Storch has placed his $20 million 1995 yacht for sale on E-Bay for just $600,000.

According to published reports, Scott Storch, worth an estimated $17 million, can’t afford paintings, owes back property tax, and now the producer has fallen behind in his child support payments.
