NBA champion Shaq, who joins the Cleveland Cavaliers next season, has inked a deal to star in Shaq Vs., an ABC reality series that will pit the 7-foor-1-in. star against top athletes in other sports.
According to USA TODAY, future episodes will see Shaq take on Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in football. Future hour-long episodes will pit him against Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, retired boxer Oscar De La Hoya, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Albert Pujols, tennis pro Serena Williams, and beach volleyball Olympians Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh.
Filming begins this Wednesday. Shaq is set to premiere Aug. 18 and will air Tuesdays @ 9PM ET/PT on ABC
Shaquille O’Neal and his wife Shaunie have decided to call off their pending and give their five-year marriage another chance.
“Things are great and we’re moving on to the good stuff,” Shaunie says. “We’ve both learned a lot and know that our family comes first and that’s the main thing for both of us.”
Shaquille O’Neal’s wife Shaunie Nelson has filed papers to the court denying that her marriage is irretrievably broken down. She is asking the court to grant her a three-month continuance so that she can attempt to save her marriage and ignore her husband’s divorce application.
The Miami Heat star filed for divorce last month claiming that his wife had been “secretive about her assets… particularly with respect to certain properties owned or titled in either (her) name alone or in other entities”.
Shaquille O’Neal filed for divorce from his wife of five years ,Shaunie, on Tuesday. The Miami Heat star claims the marriage has been “irretrievably broken,” and is accusing the mother of his four children of being “secretive about her assets.” Shaq has petitioned the court for a full investigation into Shaunie’s finances. Shaq has requested that the kids live with Shaunie, and that he receive “liberal rights of visitation.”
