As part of their new “Redefine the Color of Beauty” Campaign, Carol’s Daughter have tapped three new brand spokesmodels who will likely look very familiar. Singers Solange Knowles and Cassie and Caribbean-born Victoria’s Secret supermodel Selita Ebanks will serve as cultural ambassadors for Carol’s Daughter, appearing in promotional ads for the company, whose infamous body butter and other hair and skincare products have earned it acclaim from celebs like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Mary J. Blige and even Brad Pitt
Solange Knowles is raising her voice for a good cause. She’s teamed up soft drink giant Cocoa-Cola to front a new campaign lobbying to bring access to clean water to impoverished areas of Africa.

Solange Knowles will guest star on an upcoming episode of the popular Nickelodeon series Yo Gabba Gabba! The singer will perform an original song called “Momma Loves Baby” on a special Mother’s Day-themed preschool marathon airing May 7, the network has announced.
Love Is In The Air: Washington-born rapper Wale, whose latest album, Attention Deficit, was released Tuesday, isn’t shy about expressing his feelings for Beyonce’s little sister Solange.
“She’s amazing. She’s a good person,” he said at his album release party at Marquee in Manhattan Monday night. “Any single mother contributing to society the way she does, I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly.”
Solange Knowles awoke Sunday morning to find her beloved yellow bike missing. The bike had been a present from her good friend and the songstress immediately took to her Twitter.com blog to complain about her stolen wheels.
“Thank you whoever stole my bag and my fave yellow bye-sick-cool (bicycle). I hope you ride it really fast then trip on a stick and fall,” she Tweeted. “Ok. I don’t want them to really hurt anything when they fall. Just a scratch or two.”
“That bike was a gift from two of my besties (best friends)… & I’ve had it for some good years. I’ll never be able to replace the memorys (sic).”
But she is trying to remain positive about her loss, adding: “Thank God they didn’t steal me. There’s always a bright side.”
Beyonce and Solange Knowles survived a 6.6 earthquake that shook Toyko early Tuesday.
“wtf! wtf! wtf! my sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and i was snoring. 6.6????? omg! omg! omg! tsunami watch???” Solange posted on her Twitter page afte learning she had slept through the natural disaster. “how did i sleep through a SERIOUS earthquake. AGAIN. Japan. wtf?”

In Today’s Edition of “Girl, No!,” Solange Knowles says “So Long” to great lengths. The “I Decided” singer has been spotted sporting a new edgier ‘do. The 23-year-old younger sister of R&B songstress Beyonce just shaved her head nearly bald!
Solange is not the only singer who is saying buh-bye to lengthy locks. Rihanna has rocking a semi-shaved head Mohawk-style, while Cassie shaved the right half of her head and left the other half long.
