“She’s amazing. She’s a good person,” he said at his album release party at Marquee in Manhattan Monday night. “Any single mother contributing to society the way she does, I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly.”

“Thank you whoever stole my bag and my fave yellow bye-sick-cool (bicycle). I hope you ride it really fast then trip on a stick and fall,” she Tweeted. “Ok. I don’t want them to really hurt anything when they fall. Just a scratch or two.”

“That bike was a gift from two of my besties (best friends)… & I’ve had it for some good years. I’ll never be able to replace the memorys (sic).”
But she is trying to remain positive about her loss, adding: “Thank God they didn’t steal me. There’s always a bright side.”

Beyonce and Solange Knowles survived a 6.6 earthquake that shook Toyko early Tuesday.

“wtf! wtf! wtf! my sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and i was snoring. 6.6????? omg! omg! omg! tsunami watch???” Solange posted on her Twitter page afte learning she had slept through the natural disaster. “how did i sleep through a SERIOUS earthquake. AGAIN. Japan. wtf?”

The Knowles Sisters are in Japan promoting the Samantha Thavasa & Disney handbag collection kickoff at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

Solange is not the only singer who is saying buh-bye to lengthy locks. Rihanna has rocking a semi-shaved head Mohawk-style, while Cassie shaved the right half of her head and left the other half long.

Solange Knowles wants to be the “Black Björk.” The “I Decided” singer covered Björk’s “It’s Oh So Quiet” in concert last night.

If only she would be “oh so quiet!”

Has Solange Knowles been dropped from the roster at Geffen/Interscope Records?

After the disappointing debut of her sophomore album, the label has decided to end its contract with the young singer.

A music industry tattle tells AOL Black Voices’ BV Blog, “Geffen did a one-off deal with Music World Entertainment for Solange and wasn’t interested in doing a new contract with her. People at the label really liked working with her because other than her infamous news outburst in Las Vegas, she was a constant professional. There were challenges dealing with her camp, but Solange was great to work with. In the end, the CD didn’t sell despite Solange’s countless high profile appearances.”

Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams has sold 138,000 units since its release in August of 2008.

First that NyQuil overdose and now this….Solange Knowles narrowly escaped injury after her tour bus crashed into a family of deer.

Blogging on her Twitter page on Wednesday, the singer explained that she had been traveling to a gig at the 2009 Houston Rodeo last weekend when her bus careered off the road and slammed into a pack of deer.

“I’m on the phone baking like Betty in my bus bunk and CRASH.Thought I was dead, but turns out we ran into a family of deer,” Solange wrote.

“I can’t believe it. We’re all okay though! The guitar player flew out of the bunk and hurt his hand a little. I’m saying a huge prayer of thanks right now. God is good all the time!”

On a more somber note, Solange added that she felt “really sad for the deer…one didn’t make it.”

Solange performed her singles “Sandcastle Disco” and “TONY” at the 2009 Houston Rodeo over the weekend.
