Say hello to the new faces of Harlem-based beauty brand Carol’s Daughter.

As part of their new “Redefine the Color of Beauty” Campaign, Carol’s Daughter have tapped three new brand spokesmodels who will likely look very familiar. Singers Solange Knowles and Cassie and Caribbean-born Victoria’s Secret supermodel Selita Ebanks will serve as cultural ambassadors for Carol’s Daughter, appearing in promotional ads for the company, whose infamous body butter and other hair and skincare products have earned it acclaim from celebs like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Mary J. Blige and even Brad Pitt

“…Carol’s Daughter aims to showcase the customers who can’t be neatly slotted into one category or another. Take, for instance, Cassie, who is of black and Filipina descent, or Ebanks, who has Jamaican, Irish, Indian and African heritage and grew up in the Cayman Islands. Knowles is of African-American and French Creole descent,” Women’s Wear Daily writes

“They will serve as cultural ambassadors in bringing forth this acceptance that the definition of beauty is now colorless. There are no longer boxes of white, black, Latina, Asian. More and more women are checking the other box,” says Steve Stoute, a rep for the company, who notes that the trio was chosen because “they share the vision and embody the messaging in their attitude, appearance, projects and core values.”

Carol’s Daughters was founded by entreprenuer Lisa Price in the early ’90s.

Solange Knowles is raising her voice for a good cause. She’s teamed up soft drink giant Cocoa-Cola to front a new campaign lobbying to bring access to clean water to impoverished areas of Africa.

The “I Decided” singer teams up with rocker Chris Taylor and musician Twin Shadow on the new “Donate to Download’ single “Kenya,” a track recorded to raise funds for the Replenish Africa Initiative (RAIN).

Fans can donate as much as they can for the track and bosses at The Coca-Cola Africa Foundation are hoping to raise $10,000 for clean water projects in Rwanda, Uganda and Cameroon.

“Water is a necessity, it’s not a privilege. The ‘Music for RAIN’ project gives everyone a chance to contribute and play a part in improving the situation,” Solange says.

“She’s amazing. She’s a good person,” he said at his album release party at Marquee in Manhattan Monday night. “Any single mother contributing to society the way she does, I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly.”

“Thank you whoever stole my bag and my fave yellow bye-sick-cool (bicycle). I hope you ride it really fast then trip on a stick and fall,” she Tweeted. “Ok. I don’t want them to really hurt anything when they fall. Just a scratch or two.”

But she is trying to remain positive about her loss, adding: “Thank God they didn’t steal me. There’s always a bright side.”

Beyonce and Solange Knowles survived a 6.6 earthquake that shook Toyko early Tuesday.

“wtf! wtf! wtf! my sister said she was scared out of her mind and calling my mom and i was snoring. 6.6????? omg! omg! omg! tsunami watch???” Solange posted on her Twitter page afte learning she had slept through the natural disaster. “how did i sleep through a SERIOUS earthquake. AGAIN. Japan. wtf?”

The Knowles Sisters are in Japan promoting the Samantha Thavasa & Disney handbag collection kickoff at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel.

Solange is not the only singer who is saying buh-bye to lengthy locks. Rihanna has rocking a semi-shaved head Mohawk-style, while Cassie shaved the right half of her head and left the other half long.

Solange Knowles wants to be the “Black Björk.” The “I Decided” singer covered Björk’s “It’s Oh So Quiet” in concert last night.

If only she would be “oh so quiet!”
