“Turn My Swag On” hip-hopster Soulja Boy is facing a drug charge after police stopped his rental car in the West Georgia community of Temple this morning and found marijuana.

Lots of marijuana.

Temple Police Chief Tim Shaw tells The Associated Press that police stopped the rented Cadillac Escalade early Tuesday and found a “substantial amount” of marijuana and guns inside. It’s unclear if any of the men had the proper licenses to be in possession of the firearms.

“We’re told an investigation is underway. One source with knowledge of the situation tells us there was roughly $70,000 in cash and drugs in the car.”

The artist and four other men were arrested and brought to the Carroll County Jail on a felony charge of marijuana possession. At press time, the rapper is still being detained in Carrol County Jail.

Mama D, he self-professed former female pimp who brought the world ATL rap star Lil Scrappy, is incensed over the recent emergence of photos featuring Diamond, of Crime Mob fame, getting a little too close for comfort to Southern emcee Soulja Boy. The snaps were enough to make the web go wild, particularly since Diamond has been dating “No Problems” hitmaker Scrappy for more than five years. The pair were even engaged. But it all ended after Diamond took up with “Crank That’s” Soulja Boy, says Mama D. The furious matriarch phoned into Atlanta’s Hot 107.9FM to share her feelings about the former future daughter-in-law.

If this is diplomacy, we’d hate to hear the lioness’ roar when Mama really gets riled up.

“OK, the b—- done got breast implants and booty shots, the b—- ain’t real first of all,” she fumed. “Secondly, Scrappy said ‘F— it, you know me.’ Soulja Boy gonna come behind him, anyway. You know what I’m saying? So at the end of the day, Scrappy is chilling. He’s fine. He’s the Prince of the South, and he got it good. He’s living good and he got it good. He ain’t thinking about that b—-. Dirty low down b—-.”

She later added that she wouldn’t mind strangling her son’s ex.

“She lied like a motherf—er! Called Scrappy back, talking about ‘I was just hanging out with him.’ Woo! Woo! You know I wanna put my hand around that b—- throat. I want you to go on the radio and say ‘Mama D is angry because you don’t mess with Mama D son.’ You know what ladies and gentlemen? Her son is doing good. The Prince of the South is still the reigning prince because he’s chill like that, he’s gonna keep it pimpin’. He’ll pass a girl on and let her go.”

It was just last year that Mama D was hailing the “Superbad” star the new Queen of Hip-Hop. My, how the tide has turned.

Call it “The Kat Stacks Effect,” but alleged coked-up Atlanta-bred rapper Soulja Boy, 20, has been left shamefaced after his recently-released third solo album — The DeAndre Way — sold a disappointing 13,000 in its first week on shelves.

The numbers come despite Soulja’s devoted 2 million followers on Twitter. (It just goes to show that “followers” don’t necessarily translate into “fans.”) And adding insult to injury, fellow hip-hopsters Nicki Minaj and Kayne West sold another 100,000 copies of their albums during their second week.

Although the infectious “Pretty Boy Swag” became a certified club banger after its release earlier this year, the single failed to translate into record sales for its rapper.

Soulja Boy has no comment on the controversy.

Ever since his alleged cocaine addiction and affair with Homie Humper Kat Stacks were exposed on tape last month, hip-hop’s lyrically-challenged Superman has been taking quite the public hazing — especially on Twitter.

Souja’s most outspoken cyber bully? “Body Ya” star Fabolous, who made the phrase “Stupid Boy Swag” a Trending Topic after he poked fun at Soulja for being foolish enough to get involved with Stacks.

Well, the self-professed “Teenage Millionaire,” now 20, isn’t going to take it anymore! Soulja Boy hit his Twitter page this week to fire off a series of diss Tweets at Fab. Well.. that went about as well as you can image. Just take a look:

Tell’Em also doesn’t appreciate being called a crackhead by the media. Following his online Turf War with Fab on Tuesday, Soulja Tweeted a threat of a slander against NY radio personality Miss Info and BET, both of which have cited inside sources who claim that the inside of Soulja’s nostrils are about as coked up as one of Paris Hilton’s handbags.

In the meantime, 50 Cent — who has raised the ire of avid Tweeters with some questionable behavior of his own recently — has threatened to murk anyone who has a problem with Soulja Boy:

We’re going with the latter. But what do you expect from someone who rhymes like the wheelchair-bound asthmatic from Malcolm in the Middle? We want desperately for both these poor children to enroll in someone’s NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND PROGRAM….or at least “I Love Me!” classes.

The bastion of truth that is MediaTakeout.com (I know, I know) is reporting that the Atlanta-bred rap star was caught on camera being serviced with a steamy session of oral sex from weaved-up video model Sheneka Adams (may as well just start calling her Kat Stacks-In-Training…)

The “Crank That” rapper was arrested last week after he ran from cops investigating complaints made about the shooting of his latest music video in Georgia. And now the 19-year-old star is facing the possibility of being tossed out of his home.

Soulja Boy has been threatened with eviction from his lavish Los Angeles rental property after breaking the rules of his tenancy agreement and falling almost $10,000 behind in rent payments. He is accused of failing to abide by a maximum two-guest rule and disrupting the neighborhood with loud late-night fiestas.

The landlord is appalled with the way the hip-hop star has treated the property – and has sent a letter threatening to kick him out.

In a letter to the star, obtained by TMZ.com, the landlord writes: “We have received complaints of noise disturbances and guests wandering the hallway and Observation Deck. This is a direct violation of your Lease Agreement. Additionally, we were notified that you had over 10 cars parked in guest parking on the evening of September 25th. This is a violation of your lease which states, ‘You may have no more than two overnight guests at a time unless we provide specific approval.’

TMZ.com writes: “Cops showed up to a home in Henry County where a music video was being shot. Several people took off when the cops showed up — including Soulja Boy — but he showed back up a few minutes later and was subsequently arrested.”

Soulja Boy, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, was taken into custody and released. He has been charged with obstruction, a misdemeanor.
