Adidas has ended its endorsement deal with gun-wielding felony, Gilbert Arenas, the embattled Washington Wizards guard whose troubles began when he decided to bring guns into the team’s locker room at the Verizon Center.

Arenas and teammate Javaris Crittenton reportedly drew guns on each other in the Wizards locker room during a dispute over a gambling debt.

“In response to Gilbert Arenas’ guilty plea to felony charges, Adidas has terminated its agreement with the athlete effective immediately,” company spokeswoman Stephanie Von Allmen said in a statement Friday. “Beyond this statement we have no further comment at this time.”

Former NBA star Jayson Williams is facing DWI charges after smashing his black Mercedes SUV into a tree in Manhattan at around 3:15AM Tuesday. Police officials suspect Williams — who is still fighting manslaughter charges for allegedly murdering his bodyguard in 2002 — may have been drinking. The troubled athlete has been charged with DWI and is being treated in the prison ward of Bellevue Hospital.
