It’s no secret: There’s no love loss between Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes and former View co-hostess Star Jones. But the boisterous reality star doesn’t hold back when dishing about her fellow Celebrity Apprentice competitor on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Wednesday.

“I don’t think anybody is getting along with Star. I don’t think she’s easy to get along with. She’s a tough girl. We’re kind of OK. I’m trying to feel her out right now,” Leakes explained.

Things reportedly got so heated between the ladies that a frazzled Star hired additional security to fend off a potential attack by NeNe. Leakes, on the the other hand, says she had good reason to snatch Star’s wig.

“Star is manipulative. I will tell it like it is. … She is bossy, she is manipulative, conniving. And I’m not even being funny. I think that is real. I honestly think that is who she is. She is controlling. I think that she knows. Yeah. She looks in the mirror, she better know.”

Leakes says it’s not her fault. It’s just how Star is. “I tried to get to know her. Some people are difficult to get to know. She’s not the easiest person to get to know. She is a disaster.”

Star says her feud with NeNe is reminiscent of stereotypes about the inability of Sistas to get along.

“This actually saddens me. Black women trashing other black women all for the sake of personal aggrandizement,” she told Jawn Murray of BlackVoices.com last month. “When the cast was first announced, I was both excited and concerned. Excited that this was going to be the most diverse cast in prime-time reality programming and concerned because the media immediately started the drumroll of ‘can this many black women get along?’ The four of us actually chatted about the unique opportunity we had to influence the perception of black women and the way we interact. We each brought something different to the show, so I had hoped we could avoid falling into the typical ‘snake charmer in your face loud bombastic black woman’ stereotypical box that was expected. Some of us were more successful at our quest than others. I knew I wanted to approach the game intelligently, professionally and strategically, while keeping in mind my true purpose for being there – winning money for a charity.”

She added: “At some point, NeNe attacked all the black women on the show and scared the other women to death with her aggressive approach. But to be fair, it is an approach that works for her kind of television interaction, as evidenced by the great ratings they generate. But it isn’t an approach that most sisters use in interacting with each other. I would hope as she becomes more exposed to a variety of professional situations, she will tone now the vitriolic emotional reactions and learn to express herself in a manner that is more reflective of the majority of black women in America.”

Of course, NeNe isn’t the only Celebrity Apprentice star who had a bone to pick with the former legal eagle. NBC bosses issued a star warning to Season 4 castoff Lisa Rinna after she allegedly began cyberstalking Jones shortly after Star played a pivotal role in her early exit from the program.

Well, what do you know? NeNe Leakes has a new frenemy — and for once, it isn’t one of her fellow Atlanta “Houseflies.”

The boisterious Southern belle appeared on The Wendy Williams Show Tuesday, where she confessed that there’s no love lost between she and former View co-host Star Jones. For those not in-the-know, the legal eagle is one of 15 other contestants competing against NeNe on NBC Celebrity Apprentice this spring.

“I’m not feeling Star Jones, I’m sorry,” NeNe told Wendy, invoking chuckles from the audience.

The outspoken Bravo personality said she tried to get along with the equally abrasive Jones, but ultimately things didn’t work out.

“I gave her a chance when I first got there, I did. But Star, I’m just going to tell you,” NeNe paused, shaking her head.

“Why didn’t you get along?” Wendy probed.

“Star is a trip – like she is very special, I really – she’s special,” NeNe replied. “No seriously – I wouldn’t spit on Star if she was on fire.”

Fans will get to see what caused the friction between the two women when the new season of Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice returns to NBC March 6 @ 9 PM EST.

The Player’s Club actress claims her celebrity friends abandoned her after her divorce from adulterour Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick last year, and she plans to blast them on her still-untitled show.

“LisaRaye hosted Star at her home in the Turks & Caicos for three weeks when Star was going through her divorce from Al Reynolds,” says a source close to the upcoming TV One series. “When the tables turned and McCoy’s marriage ended, Star was helping LisaRaye’s husband.”

LisaRaye also says she was also double-crossed by former bestie Vivica A. Fox, who allegedly shared her most intimate secrets with Misick. “LisaRaye hasn’t spoken to Vivica since….”

There’s a new man in Star’s life and it looks like this one is straight! Television personality Star Jones was spotted smooching with new love Herb Wilson at the U.S Open in Queens, New York on Tuesday.

Herb is the executive chef at the Tribeca Grand in New York City.

Al Reynolds is speaking out on the gay rumors that plagued his now-defunct marriage to former celebrity pundit Star Jones. Star’s soon-to-be ex has sat down for a series of interviews on his sexuality and failed love affair with the one-time co-hostess of The View. Married Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade appeared on TNT’s Inside the NBA to deny rumors of a romantic relationship with legal eagle Star Jones.

“Star is an unbelievable woman. We have a great, great relationship. As friends….We’re friends, just like a lot of celebrities. We are friends.”

Star Jones is ending her three-and-a-half year marriage to attorney/reputed “down low brother” Al Reynolds. The former star of ABC’s The View filed for divore in New York Supreme Court in Manhattan on March 26th.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Star says:

“Several years ago I made an error in judgment by inviting the media into the most intimate area of my life. A month ago I filed for divorce. The dissolution of a marriage is a difficult time in anyone’s life that requires privacy with one’s thoughts. I have committed myself to handling this situation with dignity and grace and look forward to emerging from this period as a stronger and wiser woman.”

Star Jones Reynolds admits that her dramatic weight-loss was due to gastric-bypass surgery in the September 2007 issue of Glamour Magazine. The forty-five year old former co-hostess of ‘The View’ claims that she dodged questions about how she lost over 160 pounds for years because she was ”scared of what people might think of me.”

”Everything about me was already so public (mostly my own doing — talk about dumb!), so of course everyone wanted to know what I had done,” she writes. ”I was also terrified someone would have a tragic result after emulating me without making an informed decision with her doctor.”
