Well — who knew thugged-out badass Marion “Suge” Knight had such a soft spot for furry faces?

Word on the Curb has it that the man who co-founded Death Row Records and terrorized some of hip-hop’s biggest names for nearly two decades will soon be appearing in an advertisement decrying animal cruelty in an ad for PETA, People for Ethical Treatment of Animal. Suge’s ad will be aimed at stopping dog-chaining.

“Dogs deserve our love and attention not a life of ‘solitary confinement’ at the end of a chain,” Knight said in a statement issued last week. “Dogs depend on us to take care of them, to keep them safe and healthy. Chaining a dog is one of the cruelest things you can to do them — they are social animals.”

Knight is expected to begin shooting the ad sometime in the next few weeks.

Police in Los Angeles want to talk to former Death Row Records chief Suge Knight after a rappe accused the bad ass of robbing him before quickly recanting his story.

Detective Jeff Briscoe says 35-year-old Jerold Ellis, who goes by the rap moniker Yukmouth, reported he was talking to Knight on Monday night in a Woodland Hills supermarket parking lot about a debt that another rapper allegedly owes Knight when 10 of Suge’s croonies rolled up on him, knocked him down, and took his watch, medallion, and other jewels worth almost $92,00.

We don’t know which part of this story is crazier: The fact that Suge is still running the streets terrorizing people, or that some fool named Yukmouth expects us to believe he walks around wearing $92,000 worth of jewel!

Marion ‘Suge’ Knight has been hospitalized in Arizona after a violent beating left the shady former hip-hop mogul seriously injured.

Police say it happened early Monday at a private party in a hotel in Scottsdale.

Two men were arrested, including a man who said he is the business manager for hip-hop singer Akon.

Scottsdale police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark officers arrived and saw a man identified as 38-year-old Robert Carnes Jr. of Bethlehem, Pa., twice punch Knight in the face.

Police booked Carnes and Thomas Leon Anderson Jr., of California, 33, on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.

Former Death Row boss Suge Knight, 43, is has taken legal action against Kanye West over an incident at a party three years ago in which he was allegedly shot and robbed.

Suge, who recently filed for bankruptcy, claims he was shot in the leg, shattering a bone, during a pre-VMA party hosted by Kanye at a Miami Nightclub in 2005.

Suge also claims to have been robbed of a 15-carat, $135,000 diamond earring.

The controversial former hip-hop mogul filed papers on October 30 at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in L.A. claiming the Stronger hitmaker is to blame for the incident for allowing a gun to get past security checks at the venue.

Suge is seeking damages for his injuries and for the loss of his jewelry.

Suge’s in trouble again. Death Row Records founder Marion “Suge” Knight was arrested in Las Vegas early Wednesday.

Knight, 43, is being held on drug and assault charges after he was accused of beating his longtime girlfriend while holding a knife.

Police say the woman tried to run from the car, but Suge chased and grabbed her.

Suge is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs without a prescription and battery domestic violence.

Greg the Barber, the South Central, LA man who knocked out former Death Row chief Suge Knight at Shag Nightclub last week, has released a You Tube video chronicling his new found fame.

Suge Knight was knocked out this weekend when he began fighting with a club patron at the Shag nightclub in Los Angeles.
