Oscar-nominated actor Terrence Howard has landed a contract with Columbia Records and will release his debut album in the Fall of 2008.

A label representative says: “The full name (of the project) is Terrence Howard Presents Me And The Band of Kings.”

Terrence Howard will be joined in the Broadway revival “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” by his twelve-year-old daughter, Heaven. Heaven was cast in the Tennessee Williams play as one of the five nieces and nephews of Terrence’s character Brick.

Academy Award-nominated actor TERRENCE HOWARD has signed on to make his Broadway debut in a 2008 production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF, alongside Phylicia Rashad, Giancarlo Esposito and James Earl Jones. The production will open at New York’s Broadhurst Theatre in March 2008. Producer Stephen Byrd tells the New York Daily News, “It’s confirmed. We’re there. Terrence and I were together last week; he’s on board.”

TERRENCE HOWARD was spotted getting up close and personal with socialite KIM KARDASHIAN. A source tells the New York Post’s gossip column PageSix: “They were all over each other. She was sitting on his lap and he was rubbing her butt.”
