Mathew Knowles Wanted To Buy Lovechild For Jay-Z & Beyonce

As if this whole business with the folding baby bump isn’t weird enough, pregnant star Beyonce has been caught up in yet another bizarre baby-related scandal – and this one involves her dad, Mathew Knowles.

The 60-year-old fathered a son during an 18-month extramarital affair with former Scrubs star Alexsandra Wright, 40, but apparently he begged the boy’s mother to hand the child over to his superstar daughter and son-in-law, so they could raise him as their own.

Alexsandra refused to give up her child and is raising the baby, now 20-months-old, with her new boyfriend. She tells Star Magazine:

“My first thought when he asked me if I would give up our child to Beyonce and Jay-Z was, ‘Are you out of your mind?’ Nothing in the world, no amount of money would make me give up my child, you can’t buy my child from me! Maybe Mathew thought money could buy anything.”

Alexsandra insists that Beyonce knew nothing of her father’s scheme to have her raise her own half-brother.

“I don’t believe that Beyonce or anybody else has a clue about what was flying out of Mathew’s mouth. I don’t think it was anybody but Mathew.”

The “If I Were a Boy” hitmaker is presently estranged from her dad, also her former manager, amid allegations that he stole millions from her.

Knowles and Wright ended their affair before the baby was born, and Alexsandra claims Mathew then tried to offer her money to leave his name off the birth certificate. Wright refused, and after a paternity battle which proved the baby was his, Tina Knowles (Beyonce’s mother) filed for divorce after 30 years of marriage.

Mathew Knowles has never met his only son.

Beyonce stopped by The View on Monday, but the interview wasn’t all about her. The diva was joined by her stylist-mom Tina Knowles, who showed off her recently-released Misses clothing collection, Miss Tina by Tina Knowles, in a live in-studio fashion show.

The line features petite and plus-sizes and some of the dresses are as cheap as $18! How’s that for a Black Friday deal?

Mathew & Tina Knowles Divorce Off

Mathew and Tina Knowles are giving their 30-year marriage another go, despite a lengthy separation that resulted in Mathew fathering a son with another (much younger) woman: Los Angeles costume designer Alexsandra Wright.

Here’s the scoop from celebrity snoops: “TMZ has learned Beyonce’s parents — Mathew Knowles and Tina Knowles — are no longer getting divorced … at least for now. A trial was supposed to take place yesterday in Harris County, Texas, but nobody showed up, so the judge dismissed the case.”

The Knowles have been married since 1980.

Tina Knowles was a booked guest on the fourth hour of The TODAY Show Wednesday to show off the inaugural collection of her modestly-priced Miss Tina Line for Wal-Mart.

What TODAY hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford didn’t know is that Miss Tina’s superstar daughter Beyonce would be one of the models showing off the collection.

Move over, House of Dereon: Mama Knowles is designing a new line of frugal fashions of her own. Tina Knowles — matriarch of R&B’s Knowles Music Machine — will introduce her Misses clothing line, aptly-titled “Miss Tina,” exclusively at Wal-Mart this Fall.

“As a woman with a very busy lifestyle, I know from personal experience how challenging it can be to find clothes that fit comfortably and that are flattering,” Tina, a former Houston hair stylist, explains. “I had become frustrated in searching for fashionable well-fitting yet age appropriate clothing that was affordable, well-made and addressed the problem areas so many of us women struggle with. Having created and launched two successful fashion brands, House of Deréon and Deréon, I felt there was still a void in the marketplace and wanted to find a solution to this situation.”

In explaining the concept behind the collection, Knowles says: “The line caters to a consumer whose beauty is represented in a variety of shapes and sizes ranging from 4-20. The collection is also affordable, all items of the collection are designed to compliment one another, saving women time and money while simplifying the decision making process while shopping.”

Knowles will host a preview of The Miss Tina Fall/Winter 2010-11 Collection at this weekend’s Essence Music Festival in New Orleans.

Beyonce’s inability to forgive her cheating dad for fathering a lovechild with a woman two decades his junior could spell disaster for the pop diva’s career, sources tell The New York Post’s PageSix Column. Tattling tipsters close to the singer say Mrs. Carter was horrified when it was revealed that Mathew had been unfaithful to his wife of 30 years — Beyonce’s mom Tina Knowles — and is considering firing the family patriarch as her manager.

Knowles had an 18-month affair with 38-year-old Alexsandra Wright and DNA tests confirmed he had fathered her son, Nixon, while still married. The former Scrubs actress filed a paternity suit last October, and a DNA test taken in March confirmed that Knowles was the father of Nixon, who was born on Feb. 4. A judge ordered him to pay $8,200 a month in child support on an interim basis. Tina filed for divorce in November.

Now Beyonce’s relationship with her father has reached such a low point that executives at her label, Columbia, fear the rift could permanently damage her career.

“Beyonce was horrified to find out her dad cheated on her mom. She always looked up to him, and she is very close to her mom, so this has hit her really hard,” an insider said. “She is refusing to speak to him, which is making things difficult where it comes to managing her career. Some people at Columbia now think it would be better to move him aside.”

A Los Angeles judge has ordered Mathew Knowles, father of to pay child support for a baby he allegedly fathered outside of his marriage, TMZ claims. Knowles must fork over $8,200 a month in child support, retroactive to February 1, as well as 100% of uninsured medical costs.

A baby boy named Nixon was born on Feb. 4 to Alexsandra Wright, who claims she had an 18-month relationship with the married Knowles. Her lawyer, Neal Hersh, asked for and was granted support in court today. Knowles will take a DNA test on March 1 to prove paternity. The music mogul is currently going through a divorce with his wife of 30 years, stylist/designer Tina Knowles.

The Los Angeles woman who filed a paternity suit against music mogul Mathew Knowles — father of R&B star Beyonce — has given birth to a baby boy, according to reports. In October, Alexsandra Wright filed court papers naming Knowles as the father of the child she claims was conceived during an 18-month fling.

Mathew denies that he fathered the child. According to TMZ.com, Wright gave birth to a son, named Nixon, last Thursday, and has scheduled a further court date for next week. Beyonce’s mother, stylist Tina Knowles, filed for divorce from Mathew in November — less than a month after news of the paternity suit broke. The pair had been married for more than 30 years.

Daddy Knowles is being sent “To The Left, To The Left.” Michelle Williams has become the latest former Child of Destiny to part ways with Beyonce’s manager dad Mathew Knowles. The singer has been managed by her former bandmate’s father since she joined the now defunct girl band in 2000, but on Tuesday, Michelle announced that she is parting ways with Knowles and his Music World Entertainment company so she can take her career “in a new direction.”

The move comes a year after ex-bandmate Kelly Rowland ditched Knowles as her manager.

“After much prayer and consideration I have decided to part ways from my management team, Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment,” Williams, who will take over the role of Roxie in the Broadway play Chicago next month,” said in a statement this week. “From my time in Destiny’s Child to my solo career, I am grateful for everything Mathew and his team has done for me. We’ve shared great success together. However, as I move in a new direction in my career, I felt it was time. I wish Mathew Knowles and the Music World Entertainment family all the best.”
