NeNe Leakes’ Son, Bryson Bryant, Arrested On Drug Charges
The chattiest woman in The ATL has a young hellraiser on her hands. The son of Nene Leakes — one of the opinionated star’s featured on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta — has been held in the Gwinnett County Detention Center since March 7 on two charges including possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and failure to appear.
The Southern spitfire Nene first tweeted her disappointment: “Morning! I know my parenting job is NEVER DONE but TOUGH LOVE is ordered by the JUDGE! The judge n this case is ME….My head is up & held high this morning because I KNOW the parent that i’am! U hate 4 yo kids 2 make mistakes! TOUGH LOVE this morning”
NeNe then addressed her son’s arrest in a statement issued this afternoon: “Like any parent, I am disappointed with the actions and arrest of my son, Bryson. Certainly, my husband and I will deal with this family issue in a private manner. My son is not the first young adult to experiment with marijuana, and he certainly won’t be the last. Still, as parents, this is a chance for us to have an open dialogue with him about the dangers of any substance abuse. I realize as a parent that my job is never done. And as I’ve tweeted, tough love was in order. Still, I ask that you respect our privacy during this trying time.”

I don’t like to gossip, so you didn’t hear this from me… The Snitch Circuit is gumbling with whispers that the forthcoming third season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will feature Black Hollywood attorney Phaedra Parks, who joined the cast after chats to add actress Victoria Rowell fell through earlier this month.
According to Gossip Guy Jonathan Jaxson — who previously represented singer/actress Adrienne Bailon and RHOA Kim Zolciak — Parks will be replacing either Lisa Wu-Hartwell or Sheree Whitfield on the hit Bravo show next season — and she’s bringing her ex-con hubby with her!

“RHOA” Shree Whitfield Makes Acting Debut In “Heaven I Need A Hug”
Sheree “Who’s Gon’ Check Me, Boo!” Whitfield has taken her first acting job in a new stage production opening in Garland, Texas.
The star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta will appear in playwright Kendrick D. Young’s play, “Heaven I Need A Hug,” which runs from January 19-24 at the Granville Arts Center (300 N. Fifth St.). The play tells story of a championship in the fight of his life to save his marriage, family and future.

“RHOA” Murder Update: A.J. Jewell Body Exhumed For Second Autopsy
A second autopsy has been requested in the death of A.J. Jewell.
Ashley “A.J.” Jewell, who appeared alongside former Xscape star Kandi Burruss on Bravo reality show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, died in October following a brawl in a bar parking lot in Atlanta, Georgia.
Police have ruled his death a homicide after the Fulton County Medical Examiner found the massive head injuries he suffered in the bust-up had aggravated Jewell’s existing medical conditions, including sickle cell disease, leading to his passing. But Jewell’s relatives are not entirely convinced by the coroner’s report and the Fulton County District Attorney has “tentatively” agreed to grant the family’s request for another autopsy.
“Physical altercation resulting in sickle cell trait related exertional collapse” and an enlarged heart have been listed as contributing factors in A.J.’s death.
