T.I. opens up about his final weeks of freedom in a new interview with the March issue of Blender Magazine.

“You stay to yourself as much as possible,” T.I. says of spending time behind bars. “Speak when spoken to. And just mind your business. You ain’t there to make friends. You ain’t there to join in on the jailhouse games. You just there to do your time and go home.”

“….Some luxuries are available in some facilities that aren’t available in others. Some facilities have a TV, but you can’t watch it ’cause cats in there wild out so much. I’ll read the Bible a lot. Biographies, magazines. I don’t really read fiction. I read for information, rather than for entertainment. I’ll talk on the phone a lot. I’ll spend a whole day on the phone, checkin’ on what’s goin’ on, makin’ sure things are taken care of. Ain’t a lot to do.”

Essence Magazine recently sat down for an exclusive interview with T.I.’s fiancée, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle.

ESSENCE.COM: (Laughs.) Awesome. Is it tough being engaged to a sex-symbol rapper?
TINY: No, because I’m used to having fans myself, so I already knew what it was going to be like having been in the music business and having been around other successful men and watching what they would go through. A lot of [women] love to hate me because I’m with him, but it’s not like I meet these people when we’re out together. They know his public image, but I know him as a great father and provider who is caring, sweet and attentive to his family.

T.I. & Justin Timberlake “Dead And Gone” Performance @ The 51st Annual Grammy Awards.

Hip-hop stars T.I., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Sri Lankan rapper M.I.A., who is nine months pregnant, performed “Swagga Like Us” live at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards.

In a new interview with Sister 2 Sister publisher Jamie Foster Brown, T.I.’s “Bust It Baby,” Tiny Cottle revealed her plans to star in a new reality series about the “Hot Moms of ATL.”
