On Tuesday, chiseled R&B heartthrob Trey Songz unveiled the video for “Already Taken,” a single featured on the soundtrack to Step Up 3D. The video features scenes from the upcoming movie and features Trey’s beautiful ex-girlfriend Helen.

Talk about a hair-raising adventure! It appears Trey Songz wasn’t always the well-chiseled panty creamer we’ve grown to know and love. The R&B star will be featured on the series premiere of the new MTV show When I Was 17, airing this Saturday, May 1 @ 11 AM.

“Ever wonder what your favorite celebrity was like as a teenager? In this funny and enlightening new series, each episode will focus on the lives of three uniquely different celebrities. We’ll explore their family life, friendships, romantic relationships, part-time jobs and the things they did, or didn’t do, to get them to where they are today. When I Was 17 is an instant nostalgia trip looking back at pop culture from the year each star was 17, as they reminisce about their favorite music, movies, and TV shows growing up. This new series will let viewer’s see how their favorite stars experiences at 17 were just like theirs.”

Trey Songz is the R&B “It Dude of the Hour.” Not only is he shirtless and oiled up on the cover of the May issue of VIBE, the “I Invented Sex” crooner recently sat down for a photoshoot with Complex Magazine’s April/May that was inspired by the days of old school rhythm and blues. The network has taken over the Playa Suites Hotel in Acapulco Bay, Mexico as its official mtvU Spring Break 2010 destination — featuring performances from raved-about rap star Drake, heartthron Trey Songz, and Ludacris and Nicki Minaj (In a blonde wig and white catsuit…) performing their single, “My Chick Bad.”
