Trick Daddy is the latest hip-hop artist to run into trouble with the IRS.

The Lupus-stricken Miami MC owes over $100,00 in unpaid taxes to the government, according to The Detroit News.

Trick owes the feds over $157,000 in back taxes for monies he earned as far back as 2002, the paper says.

The government has placed several liens against the rapper, who recently released his autobiography Magic City: Trials of a Native Son. In September, a lien was filed against the rapper and his wife for $85,366 for three years of unpaid taxes dating back to 2007. An additional fine for $16,709 was filed in July. Trick was also hit with a separate lienfor $54,979, for income taxes owed in 2002.

And that’s not where Trick’s financial woes end. In addition to the tax troubles, the Slip ‘N Slide boss lost his $320,000 Miami home to foreclosure in October.

Trick Daddy has been fighting a secret battle with the potentially-fatal autoimmune disease lupus for the last 12 years, the Miami rap star revealed his in a radio interview on Monday. The “Play No Games” star says the diagnosis has kept him out of the sun for years, but he is determined to stay as self-sufficient as possible.

“I went to the doctor, like, 12 years ago. She took all kinds of tests, because I was trying to get rid of what we call dry skin; she did biopsies and blood tests and swab tests. She told me I have lupus.”

“I am allergic highly to the sun, that’s my worst enemy. It’s like an AK-47 (gun) with a double clip on it,” Trick explains.

He adds, “A lot of people try to cover it up with regular make-up. It makes your skin pigmented. You can go from dark to light and not light to dark. You have to cover it up and conceal it.My mama had 11 children from 10 different men. If she can live with that, I know I can live with this.”

Trick is currently promoting his upcoming autobiography, Magic City: Trials of a Native Son.

Trick Daddy is leaving Slide-N-Slide Records, SNS exec Ted Lucas confirms to SOHH.com. Ted claims the Miami-based rapper asked to be released from his contract, after problems with Slip-N-Slide’s parent label, Atlantic Records.

“As of today (October 3) he is still signed to Slip-N-Slide,” Lucas said. “He has asked to be released from the label. We are in the process of making that decision; most likely Trick will no longer be on Slip N Slide going forward.”

“He wasn’t happy with how his last project went with Atlantic records and that caused a little problem between me and him, because he felt I should have did some things that would have prevented the way it went out with Atlantic,” Lucas explained. “His last album didn’t do as well as previous albums did but I think Trick Daddy still has a great future. He is one of the best rappers to come out of the South period.”

Police have set bond at $1,500 for Miami based rapper Trick Daddy. Authorities have charged Trick with resisting arrest and disorderly intoxication following a fight at a Miami gentlemen’s club. Trick Daddy, real name Maurice Young, apparently got into a scuffle at Tootsie’s Cabaret, located on State Road 441 and 183rd Street early Monday morning.
