The green 1993 Jaguar XLS convertible featured in one of Tupac’s last music videos, “To Live & Die In L.A.,” is being auctioned off on eBay.com, with bids starting at $40,000.

The winning bidder will receive the car and its original papers with the rap legend’s name and signature on them.

Last week, the publication ran a report claiming that the 1994 shooting of Tupac Shakur in the lobby of a Manhattan recording studio was carried out by associates of Sean “Diddy” Combs, Biggie Smalls, and Jimmy Henchmen, The Smoking Gun is now reporting that story was an elaborate daydream created by incarcerated con man James Sabatino.

“Questions have been raised about the authenticity of documents that we relied on for a story on the assault of Tupac Shakur in New York. We are taking this very seriously and have begun our own investigation,” L.A. Times editor Russ Stanton said in a statement.

Madonna was considering having children with the late Tupac Shakur, according to Alison Clarkson, author of the new unauthorized Madonna bio ‘Madonna: Like an Icon.’ The book claims Madge ‘desperately wanted children and had various relationships with unlikely men.’

Like an Icon also claims Pac dumped Madonna because she was white: ‘She was going out with him…but homegirls were saying, ”I can’t believe you’re going out with a white girl”’ so he ditched her.’

Rural Georgia police have arrested a vandal and are currently investigating a cycle of racial attacks at the Tupac Center for the Arts, after vandals recently tied a noose around the neck of a Tupac Shakur statue housed in front of the museum.
