TV One will feature a reality show based on the life of actress and former Turks and Caicos First Lady LisaRaye.
The network has revealed that cameras will follow LisaRaye as she attempts to revive her acting career while balancing a troubled personal life.
LisaRaye will be shown focusing on her acting career, helping her 19-year-old daughter Kai transition into adulthood; keeping in touch with her incarcerated sister, Da Brat; and taking care of her ailing mother. The half-hour show’s eight episodes will be shot in both Los Angeles and the island of Turks and Caicos, where she served as the First Lady during her turbulent marriage to former Premier Michael Misick.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak has filed a police report against castmate and arch-nemesis NeNe Leakes for an alleged assault that took place in the southern city earlier this week.
According to an incident report obtained by The Insider on Friday, NeNe allegedly strangled Kimberly during a heated exchange on the way to a shoot for their Bravo show. While they were fighting, NeNe started to point her fingers in Kim’s face, the report claims. When witnesses tried separating the two women, NeNe “grabbed [Kim] by the neck and tried to choke her out.”
The fight comes on the heels of reports that NeNe’s autobiography Never Make the Same Mistake Twice – available August 11 — will expose Kim’s penchant for dating married men, as well as her past as an Atlantic City stripper named “Barbie.”
Quote Of The Day: “She was a rumpshaker in a bunch of videos. Nuff Said.”
In the past, Karrine Steffans — The Human Semen Recepticle Formerly Known As “Superhead” — has been vocal about her bias against “Black Media.” With that in mind, The New York Times Best-Selling author has hit the promo track for her third book, The Vixen Manual, by catering to only “mainstream” media outlets.
Unfortunately for the “married mama of two,” the hosts of Sacramento’s CW Morning Show weren’t prepared to to give Ms. Steffans the kind of royal asslicking she’s grown accustomed to on other networks when she appeared on the show earlier this week.

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta’s own “Tell It Like It Is” Nene Leakes sipped “Truth Serum” with Wendy Williams on Tuesday.
As Nene prepares for the second season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta later this month, she’s sounding off on split rumors with Greg, the search for her biological father, and the fact that she’s never heard of ’90s R&B group Xscape.
“Listen, it’s not that I don’t like the girls,” Nene explained. “I like the girls. I talk to Lisa the most and um, Sheree and I, in the first episode, you see us try and mend our relationship. But what I’m saying is I think people get confused about what friendship is. Friends don’t do what we do – talk bad about each other, be very negative toward each other… We’re associates. We hang out from time to time. If I was really in a situation I wouldn’t call them up. I have good friends and I have a new sister – you.”
