Daytime diva Wendy Williams has landed the first sit-down interview with Aretha Franklin since the Queen of Soul scrapped all of her concert dates to undergo treatment for an alleged pancreatic cancer diagnosis last year.
On The Wendy Williams Show Monday, the brassy chatterbox announced that she’d been invited to Franklin’s home in Detroit, where she’s expected to enjoy a round of exercise and “high tea” with the music legend between provocative chatting.
An airdate has not yet been announced.
Diva of Dish Wendy Williams will reportedly be among the dozen celebrities announced as part of the Season 12 cast of Dancing With The Stars when this cycle’s castmates are revealed on the season finale of The Bachelor Feb. 27. Williams’ popular television talk show will go on hiatus while the married mom travels to Los Angeles to train and compete on the show.

Cash-strapped comedian Sinbad has landed his own reality show on WEtv (Women’s Enterainment) — the same network that recently greenlit a docu-soap starring singer Toni Braxton and her sisters. .
“It’s not your run-of-the-mill reality show. I’m looking at this medium to find ways to be creative. If done right, reality TV can be funny,” he tells Entertainment Weekly.

Brown’s already announced that his new album will be released on March 22. F.A.M.E. includes his hit “Yeah 3x” and features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Benny Benassi, Wiz Khalifa, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Asher Roth. The disc will be released in both a standard edition and a deluxe double-disc edition.
