Tyra Banks — America’s Next Best-Selling Author?
The talk show host and former model has inked a three-book deal with Delacorte Press — a division of Random House Children’s Books — to pen a fantasy series for young people.
Modelland will arrive on shelves in the summer of 2011. The series follows a girl trying to keep up with the beauty game at an elite school for supermodels, or Intoxibellas.
Tyra Banks is ending her Emmy-winning daytime talk show after five seasons.
Tyra will close the curtains on the show that chronicled weave-exposing and cellulite-slamming next Spring. She says she’ll focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company with the mission of bringing “positive images of women to the big screen.”

Eddie Murphy will make an appearance on the finale of The CW’s America’s Next Top Model Nov. 18.
Why? According to E!’s Kristin Dos Santos, Eddie will be in the house to cheer on his daughter, Bria Murphy, who will appear with the Top Model finalists in the show.
