VH1 Renews “Single Ladies” For Second Season
VH1 has green-lit a second season of its original scripted comedy/drama, Single Ladies. Set in Atlanta and produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit, the show is the network’s first hour-long scripted series and stars Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, and Charity Shea.

Featuring former G-Unit First Lady Olivia, the pudgy Somaya Reece (Mexico’s hard-faced answer to Nicki Minaj), Christine “Chrissy” Lampkin (the wannabe future Mrs. Jim Jones), Fabolous’ long-suffering “baby mama” Emily B., and singer-turned-jilted bride Mashonda lamenting the world of rap music and the men who love it.
The docu-soap is expected to debut later this year.
