Whitney Houston will perform on ninth season finale of ABC ballroom reality competition, Dancing With The Stars,ABC announced Monday.

The live finale airs Nov. 24.

R&B diva Whitney Houston will perform her comeback single, “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength,” at 2009 American Music Awards, airing next Sunday, Nov. 22, @ 9PM on ABC.

Whitney Houston’s New Jersey estate, where she married Bobby Brown in 1992, is for sale, according to The Associated Press. The five-acre, five-bedroom, 12,561-square-foot house in Mendham Township is listed for $2.5 million. That’s less than half its $5.6 million assessed value.

The property is described by real estate agents as a modern-styled home full of natural light and containing “circular-themed interior spaces,” as well as a four-car garage, three fireplaces, walk-in closets, a bar and skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows.

Whitney Houston narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction when she took the stage on the British reality talent competition The X Factor Sunday night, wearing a floor-length silver dress that threatened to get caught on the heels of her stilettos.

With a hem several inches too long, the comeback diva had to keep hoisting the frock up to avoid falling on her face as she belted out the lyrics to “Million Dollar Bill.” Whitney even had to deal with the garb’s back fastening coming apart.

Despite the wardrobe malfunction, Whitney championed through her performance, telling host Dermot O’Leary: “I sang myself out of my clothes…”

Whitney Houston has unveiled a music video for her new uptempo track “Million Dollar Bill,” the second single from the diva’s charttopping comeback album I Look to You. The track was co-written and produced by hip-hop power couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz.

Whitney Houston says ex-husband Bobby Brown was emotionally abusive during their 14 year marriage and at one point slapped and spit on her.

On Monday, Whitney — who is staging a career comeback with the release of her album in 7 years, I Look To You – told Oprah that the crooner wasn’t physically abusive but that “he slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me.”
