Whitney Houston is being sued by her stepmother for the remaining proceeds of her late father’s $1 million life insurance policy.
According to TMZ.com, Barbara Houston, claims a portion of the money from her the estate of John Houston, who died in 2003, was earmarked to pay off a mortgage on her dad’s apartment.
Whitney Houston and her ex-husband Bobby Brown are being lined up to appear on the next season of the British reality series Celebrity Big Brother, premiering in January.
“It was bad enough when Brigitte Nielson has to suffer her ex mother-in-law Jackie Stallone turning up in the house. But Bobby and Whitney together? It’s a time bomb waiting to go off.”
Producers of the popular British reality series Celebrity Big Brother are in discussions to cast powerhouse diva Whitney Houston, 45, as a star housemate.
“We’re aiming high for the new series,” a source has revealed to the British Daily Mail. “We want top-notch stars no Z-listers. We’ll be back with a bang in 2009.”

Whitney’s singing was so unrecognizable when she began recording her new album music mentor Clive Davis ordered her to take singing lessons.
“She was smoking a lot and taking a lot of drugs. Her voice was almost unrecognizable.”

The Grammy Award-winning pop diva spent years treating her stepson like a second-class citizen, twenty-two year old Landon Brown is telling The National Enquirer. Landon, the eldest son of R&B singer Bobby Brown, was recently voted off MTV’s reality hit Rock The Cradle, but according to him, being cast away is a feeling he’s visited a few times in his short journey through life.
In scathing Enquirer article, Landon blasts his former stepmother, accusing the music legend of never accepting him into her family. Landon says Whitney refused to allow him to sleep in her home, kept him away from his baby sister Bobbi Kristina, and even forced him to work as a security guard for her.
“Whitney and I never realy got along. She didn’t necessarily hate me, but she wouldn’t really speak to me either. In Whitney’s eyes, I was the stepchild-that’s how I was treated. I’d get harassed about cocaine rumors almost everyday at school.”

Music mogul Clive Davis has revealed that he has recorded five new tracks with the singing legend and he’s pleased with the album’s progress:
“It’s really good. We’re looking to release the album in November.”
