The rapper-turned-Whip Pimpin’ TV host has declared bankruptcy twice since the MTV series that catapulted him to fame was chopped from the schedule in 2008. Both bankruptcies were dismissed. Though Xzibit has just about $739,433 in assets, he owes more than $1.4 million in unpaid debt, according to Tax Watchdog.com.

The “What You See Is What You Get” emcee says the end of Pimp My Ride is behind his financial problems, and public records seem to support that claim. X made $497,175 for headlining Pimp My Ride in 2007 and the next year, the same year the show was cancelled, he earned just $67,510.

Xzibit newborn son died early Monday morning, TMZ reports. The rapper’s infant son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, was born prematurely on May 15, X says the baby’s lungs were not strong enough to function on their own, Xavier died at 3:30 AM.

On a personal blog, written early Tuesday, Xzibit says: “life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids if you have them, protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them, dont take a second you get to hug them teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.”
