Charles Barkley had a very interesting explanation for why he was driving around the streets of surburban Phoenix intoxicated early Wednesday.

NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol early Wednesday. An officer with a law enforcement task force that targets drunk driving saw the former NBA star run a stop sign in Scottsdale around 1:30 a.m. And he’s got a very interesting explanation for why he was cruising the streets drunk: he was in a hurry to pick up a girl who had “given him a ‘blow job’ one week earlier.”

“You want the truth? I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job,” the once aspiring politican replied when officers quizzed him about why he was driving drunk.

Charles says it was “the best one he had ever had in his life.”
